It's showtime! DS will be performing in the spring musical which starts tonight!!!!! I can't wait to see the show. He's playing a bad gay cop who is in love with his partner.

Hopefully they give me good seats. This is the only show where they assign you seats. I've ordered seats for all 3 shows and begged to be in the 1st or 2nd row since heads always block my view. I also begged to be in the front row at least for 1 show so that I can take photos (without flash, of course!:goodvibes). Hopefully they won't stick me in the back!:scared1:

My day:
Make DH's lunch
DS up and off to school
Exercise
Make my lunch
Work
Meet DH for dinner at his favorite Mexican restaurant
Go to DS's show!!!!!

Have a great day!

Mornin' all!!!

Stephanie, I hope they give you good seats...We had good seats, right smack center some teens had the front 2 rows but w/ the crowd participation it was better the kids be involved than "old" people as my DsS19 said.. Yes, he'll be starvin' for the next month! I'll give him "old"...

Today:
take DS13 to school (DD has mtg)
clean up house as cleaning fairies are in route or being detoured not sure but I can't wait

kit pages for scrapping tomorrow night Bringing supplies upstairs; games on soon!
work on list of things I want to get done (little nit-picky things) 1/2 of items done
get DS13's choir uniform out and ready for tonight (3 more shows)
enjoy my day off from babysitting

dinner - chicken nuggets/patties, fries (quick meal due to concert)
choir concert
meeting about choir contest on Saturday (I'm working 4 hours of it)
discuss w/ DH plans for Saturday as he is taking DD, her friend, and DS9 to semi-state game... DS13 and I can't go do to choir concert, however I am fuming at the number of parents allowing their kids to skip...and it frustrates me even more that the teacher will not work w/ the choir organization to get the times moved up for our kids to attend. I do know that the organization WILL adjust times as they did it just 2 weeks ago for my hometown high school when they went to semi-state!! It can be done, she just won't do it...

Good Morning!

Stephanie- Good luck to DS and for good seats!
Nancy- Sorry about the choir problem- some people just don't think.

Today:
lots of stuff to do before Relay tomorrow night
upload photos of books and organize them for display
cut flags for centerpiece
choose print and attach verses to flags for centerpieces
photos to AWM for swap
write-up of specailty laps adding in anything I have for them
Dakin's farm for more cow stuff
Find wire and rope for booth set-up
Make final list of things to take from house/church
Posters for food/game

Rebecca

Steph - break a leg, to DS! (And you, too, in your quest for a good seat!)

Today - busy, but hopefully not hectic. Minivan is at the mechanic's this morning, getting some (minor?) things checked out. Not sure if they are due to getting so wet last week, or...?

Stuff still left from yesterday's list...ugh.
The Dynamic Duo really helped get the backyard garden beds raked and cleaned. Today, Danica and I hope to get to the front yard. (Now that the ground is thawed a bit, maybe we can FINALLY take down the two dozen plastic candy canes in our "candy cane lane" -- :cool1:) It looked great at Christmas, but now that Easter's approaching...well, it just seems tacky!

Dancing last night - not so great. Our (my?) timing was off all night and my poor toes are so squashed! Even the kind of fancy "twinkle" steps we learned in the waltz class that we had nailed then, we couldn't do smoothly at all last night. Argghhh. Think we were both just tired...

Kids have to call Grandmom to say happy birthday...don't forget this!

Resume paperwork/materials searches and phone calls re DHs new job and insurance questions, etc. What a temporary full-time job this is turning out to be - for me! He's loving it, is still a bit discombobulated at the change, but each day there's less of the "new guy" stuff and more "regular" stuff...

Steph, break a leg from us too.

Change of plans. Got a sick little bit home. Just got back from doctors. 101.9 fever. Have to go get a Z-pack as soon as the pharmacy opens. Poor little guy. He gets sick so much.

So today and tomorrow are home bound days.

Me again!

News - Oreo's lump under his eye was benign. It was a histiocytoma - like here

The vet said even if they didn't manage to get "it all," (but thinks they did) it should not come back. Apparently, it is like hives or something, but gets out of control.

The van needs (rear) brakes and a new belt. Ugh. Thank heavens for a well-funded "car repair" envelope!!!

Glad to hear the good news about Oreo and your well funded envelopes :teeth:
Shouldn't take too long to fix the minivan.

Yeah - can't understand why my scrapping envelope is always SO empty, compared to others...

The other ones are for boring stuff and aren't any fun!

Glad to hear Oreo's lump was benign, sorry for the $ for the repairs, but it sounds like you have it under control.

Poor Little Bit, I hope he's feeling better soon.

Good luck to AndrewNo and enjoy the show, Stephanie!

I've been busy busy busy today! I've gotten about halfway through my list, and managed to make two valances out of one panel, make a curtain to "hide" Morgan's games in her desk, fringed two more blankets (one for Grampy's birthday, one for Morgan), started dinner in the crock pot, made banana muffins, washed the dishes and am halfway through 4 loads of laundry. Time for a nap!

So, I bought one of these (the panel, not the valance - the valances weren't wide enough - only 41 inches and that's how wide the window is), and made it into two of these:

I also made this curtain, to cover up Morgan's games in the desk.

Well, I got a job today, if I want it!

The Census folks called - and asked if I wanted the part-time local office job I applied for FOREVER ago - last year! Not totally sure I can get the time and transportation part worked out (but they say they are "very flexible" - so, we'll see) but I go on Monday morning for more info and "training." This might work out well, since it would be for however long I wanted it for...so even a month or two or three might work out, then we could see...

Totally unexpected!

Got the car back - and the repairs were not as pricey as we feared they might be...whew!

Jen, the room stuff looks so cool! She's gonna love it! You've had a busy day!!!

Today was senior retreat, and I just spent the last hour talking with DS18 about the day. He said he got the letters DH and I wrote  and could only skim them because he was crying... He has them in his room and said he will read them soon, they were just too intense...

I didn't walk today, as it was more important to listen to him...and now that I've been sitting, I don't want to get back up...

Dinner is left overs...sigh... I have to get a handle on the menu issue in this house!!

PBF- good luck with the job! and great news about the eye!

MM2000- I love the room stuff! Very cute! :thumbsup2

DIT- Break a lig to your DS! Enjoy the show!!

AWM- Hope Lil Bit feels better fast!

Linda- yuck on the bloodwork!

SIOH- Lovin the countdown!

Christy- Hope you can get some good sleep tonight!
