The Daily Grind ~ 2/28/14

Welcome to the last day of February and Friday!

Well, the winter storm warning has now come out (4AM).... now just waiting for the new numbers according to a text I got it was increasing the totals from last night.. Last night's expectation was 6-10" coming in Sunday/Monday... so who knows what will go on with school...especially if they increase the numbers... At least we have 4 additional days built in...but I know NO ONE wants to use them...

balance ckbk
boys to school
pay bills
town for bank/errands/groceries (regular grocery day w/ some extras)
scrap -- finish Jennifer's pages (DH had meetings all day so I could not play in my scraproom)
pick up DS13
homework
dinner
game

Was just watching the Today Show Nan and I saw where you were expecting lots of snow...

Rainy start to my day here, not too much going on today though:

Morning chores
Online banking
Look at dates to visit Dad
Clean out some bill files
Scrap a few pages
Pizza for dinner

Good Morning!! And it deserves a "good" because it is Friday, tomorrow is MARCH (and the weather has got to get better, right?) and we didn't get the 8-12 inches of snow that was predicted for overnight!!! (Nan, maybe you'll be as lucky!) My day couldn't have started much better! The sun is even shining, which is unusual.

Today:
More cough syrup into DS3 to combat cough
Pick up donuts for tomorrow
Pack bag for tomorrow
Laundry
Quick shopping/lunch out with DS3
pick up DS13 at 4:30 last practice before tomorrow's event
Some kind of dinner in(it is below 0 again until tomorrow)
Pack bag for DS3 for tomorrow
Early bed to prepare for tomorrow's 6:30am departure for event.

I am taking DS13 to his event that is over 1 hour away into the snowy, blowy north country. I am not quite sure where I am going and DH is working so I have o take DS3 with me. To say I am apprehensive is an understatement!!!

March is crazy here with choir stuff - 4 different events, 2 I will be chaperoning, also Megan's bday, a weekend dance convention going to be a busy month!

schedule megan's placement test for math/science at HS
tackle my closet
look for a battery powered curling iron for our Haiti trip
balance checkbook
update calendar with changes and adding HS events for next few months
nail appt.
send email to HS campus ministry about our trip to Haiti for Megan's community service hours
p/u megan at 130 early dismissal

not sure about afternoon/evening, maybe a movie night
