The winds are still pretty wicked here.. we are under a wind advisory throughout the day.

Wishing my DD an amazing 19th birthday!! Her roommate decorated her room last night and she and the boys are taking her to dinner tonight.. .can't wait to see the rest of the photos!!

I hope those in Sandy's path wake up to find minimal damage and that power will be back up and running soon.

Morning Nan - I'm with you, hope our fellow scrappers are doing okay, glad you just have to deal with the winds. We still have flooding here on South Beach and in Ft. Lauderdale due to high tides and waves created by Sandy. It is unseasonably cool here today, I can turn off the a/c and open the windows! High today is 71 - January temps!

Finish up laundry
Iron
Clean upstairs sliding glass door
UPS Store
Bank
Run to BJ's for laundry and paper items
Sort thru and store new scrap items I purchased in ATL last week

We made it through with no damage, no power outage, and not a drop of water in the basement! ILs lost power yesterday afternoon, DH will check on them on his way home from work.

No school again (and it's my regular day off), so we're just hanging out right now. Need to start laundry at some point, want to finish my card swap groups (and do the ones for the person I've not heard from). I also need to go to the bank to deposit the money for the Girl Scout nut sale (did the deposit slip this morning), and drop off the paperwork at the Head Nut Mom's house.

have a special project to work on today....finding airline and hotel deal for our trip to Haiti! will be going Jan 4 - 6 and are flying from here to Newark to meet up with the other families going down from there.

going out to lunch with my girl
back to school at 100 for conferences with teachers
home to do some cleaning

It's Blah today! Dark and wet.

DD#1 is up and out.

Still to do:
DD #2 up and out
Order material for dbf to pick up today ( found a vinyl supplier near his work with decent prices)
Once over kitchen
2 batches of cupcakes, chocolate and pumpkin cream cheese
Open my partner swap
Fold laundry
Dinner-not sure need to figure it out. Maybe toss something in the crockpot

this is a neat idea - you all just stay in touch by posting what is happening day to day?

here in Maine we got less then I think the weathermen thought. wind and rain and some power outages (but luckly not me) work let out early yesterday and opened late today but Hubs works in the Cafe here so we came in for 6am like normal.. Glad to hear that so far everyone here is ok.

Glad to hear everyone is okay after the storm yesterday!

No school here today but I had to work. Unfortunately the new company we are dealing with is located in Manhattan and they were closed today so no tech support and my boss decided to play yesterday and really messed things up. I wish he would just leave things alone that he doesn't understand. Would make way less work for me! So I spent the day figuring out how to fix his messes!

Another busy day here!! Hard to pull away from the tv reports of the the east coast. We are feeling so lucky to have just the nasty wind here in the midwest! Prayers for all you folks trying to muster out this storm.

This morning came too fast-I was so ready to roll over and go back to sleep, but up and at em as they say!

Four kids dressed, fed, and off to school.
The twin preschoolers had their Halloween party and I got to be the parent helper.
Road trip to pick up a new night stand. I had only ordered one, but found my new room was spacious enough to allow for two. A super bonus, as it was on sale$!!
Home to the never ending mountain of laundry and dinner-easy grilled cheese and tomato soup on this chilly night.
Its bath night here and tonight I am cutting out silver and gold star for the "Red carpet" birthday party-less than 2 weeks away!

Now off to do some Halloween cupcakes with the kids!

Sorry to hear your boss made a mess of things...
That irritates me when the kids do that here.. Thats why they are restricted to their own computers now and can only use mine for homework! They mess with mine and I earn my "Mean Mommy Sash & Crown" back!
