It's Saturday

And I slept in way too long...but didn't sleep well during the night at all. Up every couple of hrs cough cough cough...and I'm never awake enough to get my inhaler...duh!

Dinner.... Something easy in the crockpot... It's all rainy and yucky out, just feel like comfort food today...

We went through PrincessM's mountain of clothes and did some cleaning. She has dance from 1:00 to 2:45 and them I'm meeting Holly at Jo's

YAY for DisPeeps Meet ups!!

Finally did the dishes!! OK one more thing is soaking.I am the worst. I hate doing dishes.

Yesterday afternoon was a nightmare! Woke up DD2, put her in the truck to go to busstop. Blew a tire on the way there. Remember we live on 1200 acres, nobody was here but my BIL - he was out working on something, somewhere. Have to pick up DD, DNiece and 4 4-H ers for our meeting. Blew a tire 1/2 way there!! Its a total of 3 miles to the busstop. And of course no cell coverage right at that spot of blowout!! Thank goodness I was too lazy to take the jogging stroller out of the pickup truck after the zoo last week. Quickly walk to busstop - attempting to call ANYONE - no service. Finally get the school who contacts the bus and I ask her to call BIL on cell and let him know. Whew. Pick up kids - left messages for SIL, MIL, BIL x 3 even texting DH though he is out of town. He did need to text me BIL cell number.

Well you guessed it. NOBODY listened to the messages!! We all walked back the 3 miles. BIL and FIL were nice enough to go change my tire and bring my truck back. Ran over a 5 inch bolt! Then BIL locked the keys in my truck - which was holding everyones backpacks!!! DOH! Did I mention DH is out of town - with his keys. Dug around and around and finally found the spare, spare key. - see truck has that remote to lock/unlock the door. Mine went dead so got a new one which deprogrammed DHs old one. It was find the spare spare or nothing. Thank goodness I thought to look in the sock drawer!

Needless to say the 4H meeting was a bust. And I drank a glass of wine with DHs cousin when he came to pu his daughters. then took the girls out for dinner.

Today - off to tire shop! DH is no longer laughing at me for purchasing the lifetime tire warranty.

remember that pit I was going to dig in the back yard for my DH's dead body? I am going to do it, I swear!!!! He went to the Cape last night to help my mother close up the summer house. You are thinking, okay, that was a nice thing for him to do. What was his infraction you ask? He left his alarm on set for 3:00 am!!!!! So for the past three days I have been up at 2:00 am, 1:00 am, and 3:00 am respectively.

Aside from starting the day much to early, it was a low key day

A few loads of laundry, watch my niece have her riding lesson. Too rainy to do much else.

TRM- What a nightmare about the tire! Glad it's all fixed, but I would have had more than one glass of wine too

Lisa- my DH does that too. I !@#$%^, and try to figure out how to turn it off... then the backup one goes off like 5 min later

Up early to go to bowling with brother and sister
Go to Jo's to buy Secret Sister gift, paper for mother and more supplies for Card-Making event next Sunday - anyone want to come into Boston next Sunday, hang out, and make cards with some teenagers? Supplies provided, but bring your own ATG!
Home, clean kitchen for friend coming over
Decide I want to bake onion bread - sautéed onions and then started dough going in bread machine.
Sort eyelets
Friend over - go through scrapbook pages I've finished
Continue with bread
Come upstairs, plan event for next Sunday more - send out invites, etc.
Get off computer and do some work
Roll and braid bread - let sit
More work/clean scrap area
Bake bread
Dinner
Eat bread!

My day started at 7:30, got up loaded both vehicles, planned to get to the house and do the second coat of paint in the bathroom. But when we got to the house, DH said, "You're tired. Why don't you do the painting tomorrow and we can go get appliances, and work on getting the stuff still at the apartment packed up." So that's what we did. W/D and fridge will be delivered on Tuesday. We got all LG appliances. The space we have for the fridge limited our options to basically an LG and a GE, and the LG has much better reviews.

Although, now that we are working at the apartment, I think I feel more tired than if I would have just painted. But we are watching the college football game now, so trying to rest, but our team is losing.

Next week's schedule...work downstairs, appliances come Tue, Wed/Thur the house needs to be shut to do the followup radon test to make sure that everything is working. DH is going to have the cable guy come on Friday, and then that will be our first night sleeping at the house!

OH lordy ladies some of you have had a day.

I had a great day scrapping with friends and catching up with some I haven't seen in a while. Didn't get much done with the mouth running. finished up notebooks for craft show. got about 1/2 of 2006 done for E (i'd hope to finish this) I've decided eating takes up too much time! and I need to stop yapping.
still haven't unpacked the truck just much to tired and sore to deal with trucking it all in tonight. I definatly have to work on the packing I pared it way down and still had double what I needed.
taking my tired body off to bed.

Holly I enjoy going out and scrapping this one I went to isn't cheap so there are NO kiddos which is sometimes really nice, I only do about 2 maybe 3 of these a year. My CM rep is a whole different story she isn't out to make money so hers are like $10 for the day and she feeds you 3 meals (and I mean meals) but there are often kids there (mine included) so it can get VERY loud.
I just need to learn to pack better. Cricut takes 1 tote with it and all it's stuff. My stamps take another tote. then my cm bag has all the cutters, shapes and punches, then there's the stamp pad wooden box my dad made. and at least 1 messenger bag with the albums of pics I'm working one. I always say I'm going to cut and punch everything out first but it never happens and I like sharing what I've got with others. so I'm resigning myself to carring a lot.

You are so not alone. DH keeps saying If you're going to think about the cape crop you HAVE to shut up and get something done. I just looked at him I think he must have had 2 heads from the look I gave him.

This is an ATG - it's a framer's tape gun, but scrapbookers have started using it too. It's like a Tombow on steroids.

And I'd like info on how to clean a craft space too! I just keep adding to the mess!
