It's 10:24am, how could I possibly be the first one here this morning, haha!?

Not much on tap for me today, catching up on laundry and packing those last few remaining items for our Atlanta trip. Heading out around noon tomorrow, yay!

Hope to scrap some this afternoon and enjoy dinner out with DH tonight. Wishing everyone has a great day and remember, tomorrow is FRIDAY!

Sorry, I got to sleep in today because the boys are on fall break.. but guess what I woke up to.. them fighting over the remote.. Needless to say, I know have the remote and they are watching what I want to watch...

met the neighbor who needed to tell me that my ex is speeding/damaging our shared/private road. big shocker. I've already asked him to not speed into my yard. looks like we will be needed a meeting place somewhere in between.

pumpkin cheesecake cupcakes are done-waiting for frosting
peppermint mocha cupcakes are in the oven
dinner is in the crock pot-well at least mine is

need to pack up Keuring stuff for tomorrows party, wash the machine out tonight

I went directly from school drop off to the grocery store(s) and Joann's and Target this morning. Got all my errands done and then started my partner swap paper piecings. All done

Got my flu shot. They wouldn't do Morgan, they won't let pharmacists do under 18. So, I made an appointment for her at the pedi for Monday. We'll all be covered.

She's got 3 tests tomorrow, so we're having a quiet night of studying. (Was supposed to be 2 today and 3 tomorrow, but they changed it to 1 today, 3 tomorrow, and 1 Monday - could they have planned that any better?).

Hope everyone had a good day. Rachal, enjoy the Keurig. We're almost done with our K-Cups so we'll be breaking out the Vue for good in a few days

Afternoon All!

Did not want to get out of my nice warm bed this morning....

Today is DH's birthday, but since he procrastinated renewing his liscense he will be spending a few hours at the RMV to get this taken care of. Someday the man will learn!

Julia has baked him a cake, spice his favorite.

Now to wait to see what time he will get home, then we will celebrate.

Nan, I love when they fight over the remote! I usually just turn it off and make them either do housework or read.

Jennifer, it only gets worse with tests stacked on top of one another as they get older.. if they give her warning in advance, tell her to jot a note in her calendar/agenda if she has one... and then study about 20 minutes a night before the tests... Our HS gives all finals on one day.. has the parents all up in arms and there has been many complaints...but it falls on deaf ears.. Drives me nuts... colleges don't give all their finals on one day... they are spread out depending on the time and day your class meets.. could you have more than one test on one day... yes, but that is because of how they have your times matched with test times... Good luck to Morgan on her tests.. I'm sure she will do great!!

Ok, home from appt and it went really well.. just need to wait for some lab work..and if it is where it needs to be... we are done!

Need to pack up PJ's and her roommates masks we found for their halloween costumes today.... they are awesome!!!

had parent meeting at school

now I'm ready for a relaxing night and Tom cops and attitude I'm going to bed.

I understand that they are getting them ready for high school/college and that they are probably nearing the end of the grading period for the trimester, but come on! 3 tests in one day is too much for a 12 year old. She had a rough start to the year (getting back into the swing of things, understanding expectations from new teachers, etc.), and has managed to pull herself back up, but this may put her back down again. Really doesn't make a lot of sense to me.
