Good morning, and WOOHOOOOOO for Friday!!! Woke up late this morning, so I'm in "running behind" mode, but oh well! It's "hat day" at work, so I'm wearing my Minnie Witch ears! Can't wait!

Here's my list for today:

1. Up2. Caffeinate
3. Pack lunches
4. DS's stuff together
5. Cut last swap group
6. DS up
7. DS to mom's
8. Work
9. Pick up DS
10. Laundry (always!!)
11. DH & DS to store
12. I scrap while they're gone!
13. Leftover chicken for dinner
14. Start on weekend to-do list15. Watch DVR'd show
16. Go to sleep and rest up for weekend!!

Room is measured, and got her to measure the laundry room for new floor there too...

Now the plan is to move out all the furniture, paint, rip up old carpet, prep sub flooring, and have new flooring installed...all by next weekend

Nancy's kids- do well at your events!

I'll post results tomorrow.. Her time won't get her to semi-state nor the team..but it's the honor of making it this far!!! (we took out 5 teams to get this far!).... DS9 we'll depends on the couch! DS9 has been given a reward if he accomplish certain things since the kids' events are at the same time in 2 different places!

Good luck with the kids' sports this weekend Nancy!!

Popping in here for a minute to share a proud mommy moment...kids got their first report cards today-DS8 & DN both got the principal's award for all A's, and DS5 is getting something next week at his awards (they do K separate). DS14 was just a couple of points away from all A's & B's which is very good for him. Proud of my kiddos!!

DD10 still home with a fever so working on the computer and folding laundry. Not much of anything else.

Dinner with the DH cousin tonight for his birthday. And some cruise planning. And some cruise shopping.

DH is going down to the flooring store now to get things ordered...

Get this, we had a coupon, and NO WHERE did it say we had to show it upfront. When DH got the price quote, he mentions said coupon... The guy says "I wish I had known you had that coupon before I quoted you this price" So DH says "so the price would have been higher from the start." Guy basiclly says "Yup". But DH did get them to knock off some $$$ on GPs but still... sigh...

Yeah, that's what we were saying... We were shocked that the guy even admitted that was the business practice...sheesh!

It's ordered, and should be in next week. Hopefully the install will be Friday, but Saturday will prob be the day...

DH has the ceiling paint and spackle. We have the kids lined up for the move of the furniture... Now that it's set, I want to get it finished!! I need to take before pics for the scrapbook...

Good luck with all the alterations, Deb. I'm dying to do our floors - take out the rugs and refinish the hardwood underneath (dining and living rooms, as well as bedrooms), and put tile in the kitchen, laundry room and bath. Maybe next year?

Have all my fellow Gleeks seen this? Rocky Horror Glee Show I'm ridiculously crazily excited about it. Since I think it's going to be so fun, I guess I can wait a second week for it

OMG!! My DS18 is so excited for this GLEE! He is a Gleek, and preforms with the local Rocky Horror group. He is hoping this exposure will bring more butts in the seats to see them.

He is doing Janet again this weekend, and DH and I are both off. This will be the first time DH has seen DS18 on stage (ever), so DS18 is pretty excited...

Help DH with installing wood flooring in back hallway and bathroom. We called it quits at 8:00 pm. A third of the bathroom is done (12x6). Doubt we can finish it this weekend but hope to get a good portion under our tool belts.
