very sleepy here. spent the better part of the night trying to figure out how to get E to understand that he's got to put forth the effort with homework. he thinks i'm the worst mom ever.

all the normal stuff today
early swim drop off
home and out to elem school for open house
home pick up L from Aunt
dinner
crash into bed by 8

Christy, good luck with E and the homework. I've had to be the "Mean Mom" many times over that issue. Still am!!

My day:
Make DH's lunch
DS up and off to school
Laundry
Clean
Call WDW to make resort reservations for Candlelight Processional weekend. I love planning another Disney trip even if it's really really short!
Take old car battery back to shop for core deposit
Run errands I didn't do yesterday (Best Buy, Party City, Walmart, library, etc.)
Must must must finish rolodex swap. I finally got a good idea for that last letter that's been holding me back.
Work on stuff for Saturday's scrapbook class
Help DH bake a cake for a bake sale at his office tomorrow. It's his speciality cake and he does most of it all on his own!
Make a pretty label for the cake box telling what kind of cake it is

Stephanie-that is so awesome about your DS performing in CP the day after Thanksgiving. We'll be at Epcot that day-would love to meet up with you sometime.

Today is my crazy day of the week!
Thank goodness DS14 has a bye from football this week.
Little kids have fine arts night at their school-each grade sings for 15 minutes, then they have an art show using artwork the kids made. All this is going on during the same time as DS8's football practice, so as soon as we get done we have to change and try to make the last 30 min. of practice. At the end of practice we're doing a pep rally-so I have to go to the field before fine arts night and set everything up for that.

Off to go to the store to get supplies for the pep rally!

7. Play cars with DS

9. Naptime
10. Fold any remaining laundry
11. Make grocery list
12. Dinner--DH's special stuffed shells! YUMMY!
13. Scrap 2-4 pages
14. Pick up more brush
15. Watch DVR'd show!
16. Soak up EVERY second of last 4 days off!!

Working on my laundry, already been to the grocery store to shop for the overnight "camping" trip with girl scouts tomorrow. Not feeling 100%, so I think a cruise of the couch is in order.

Good Morning everyone. Well it's finally here - Randy's Mom's Funeral Weekend. She wanted her ashes buried here in Andover with her Parents, so her funeral takes place this Saturday.

Family from Canada starts arriving today, more tomorrow morning. Many are staying with us. So this is my last couple of hours to get the house in order.

Shamrock volunteered to come help me this morning (for which I am sooo grateful). PBF will be managing food deliveries on the of (while we are at the cemetery). My friend Ulla, who owns Ulla's Flowers and The Danish Pastry House is doing all of the flowers and food. Its so good to have such wonderful friends -

It'll be a tough weekend - but good to be surrounded by friends and family.

Take good care - I'll pop in to catch up (as I have been this week)

Megan stayed home yesterday...Tuesday am the kids were told that a teacher had died during the night, a lot of tears among the students, put Megan in a tail spin downward, brought up everything from losing her daddy...had a very hard night, didn't sleep well so kept her home, needed her mama...the school counselor called just to check on her yesterday love that lady! they are setting up a couple areas for the kids to go and talk out their feelings.. She was doing better last night and slept soundly!

DIT - what a wonderful opportunity for your DS, enjoy the trip
Christy - I get the mean mom sometimes too with homework and she's only in 5th grade! we need to keep on our kiddo's, if we don't teach them responsibility now who will?
Brooke - am going to use garden grocers this time too, have heard good comments on them! did you get all your ADR's you wanted?

I read good comments about Garden Grocer, too. Since DH has decided that we'll fly, then I can order my detergent, etc, from them. Looking forward to it! I DID get all of my ADRs, except LeCellier, which I think will be a good thing! I added Garden Grill in its place! I know DS will love Chip & Dale!!

Thanks everyone for thinking of Megan today....it was a better day, they actually started up a mini grief group for her, two other girls and a boy all in
5th grade who have lost their dad's (one was 2, one 5 and one 8) Megan's is the most recent. So hopefully they will be able to get some comfort from talking about their experiences.

Hope everyone is doing better tonight too!
Tomorrow will be a better day!!!
