Today was a good day - first time I saw the sun on a day off in about a week! Dropped DsD off at work, did a bunch of errands, laundry, etc.
When DsD got out at 3, we all went to the fair in our area. It's supposedly the oldest agricultural fair in America, and I've lived here my whole life but I've never been. (Maybe when I was very young, but I have no memories at any rate.) It was so much fun! We went to a much bigger multi-state fair last week, but this seemed better because it was smaller and more manageable. Perfect fall weather, adorable farm animals, yummy carnival food, suitably terrifying midway rides, a country music concert, good fun and good company! Great night! (And I picked up the Cricut Carousel cartridge that I ordered this morning, so the timing worked out perfectly!
