Morning!

Well, it's currently the calm before the storm. We are just now starting to get the outer bands. We are ready though and hunkered down. The worst of it will start after 2 this afternoon and will run into most of the evening. It will be long gone (from us anyway!) this time tomorrow. Gonna be a long day and evening!

Nassau is getting pounded right now, winds of 147 mph! We figured with the storm surge and rain that over 50% of Castaway Cay is probably under water by now.

Just saw pics this morning of Cuba and Haiti - those poor people! Glad to hear the death count was low but they have such a long road of recovery ahead of them.

Nothing planned for today - just a lot of wait and see and I'll probably scrap some to calm my nerves.

P2000- continued P&PD for safety. My brother & sister-in-law live in Ormond Beach but he's in Dominican Republic and she's in Michigan - they are a little concerned for their home!

Supper- left overs

I'm thinking I'm glad we went to Disney last week!

So much damage to the town BLB is in. They are going to be helping their neighbors as much as possible. We are still waiting to hear if our Jacque and his family are safe.

Becky--- stay safe! Matthew has really overstayed his visit. I wondered about Castaway Cay. Please keep us posted.
Chae -- so sorry about your brother and SIL home.. Hopefully they have neighbors that brought stuff in for them. I'd be the first one over after I battened down our hatches to be over to help.. just my nature.
Lisa -- I hope y'all hear from Jacque and his family soon. The photos are just overwhelming.

look over some paperwork for meeting on Monday
cut last 5 Epcot titles I created in SVG files
cut football papers to complete pages tomorrow

Hello- Glad you are safe Becky. We have school off today due to winds over the bridges, but the girls have school tomorrow. We can see the clouds but other than a couple of sprinkles no rain here yet- conditions will worsen over the day though. My brother is in a mandatory evacuation area in Melbourne so they headed to his inlaws and my mom is in a voluntary evacuation area in Melbourne so she is going to a friends in Orlando.

Today will just be spending time with the girls and working on some of their projects.

Lisa- I haven't actually seen pictures but I know Haiti was hit hard and the Bahamas will be as well.
