Good Morning all!

I am so looking forward to a fresh start this week. Last week just seemed kind "off" with kiddos going back in the middle of the week, games starting, extra chores.....

YAY CHRISTMAS is down and put away! The family pitched in and it went quick. The house looks naked though. :guilty:

Princess: Wow you are super organized!

Rebecca: LOVE the beautiful scrapbook! Such a wonderful, positive idea. How could you not feel wonderful while creating it and looking at it!

BernardandMissBianca: Mount Washmore! Love it! I used to have one at my house. Started doing one load a day. Sooooo much easier for me, no more Mount Rushmore and no more digging through the hamper looking for our jersey or favorite jeans! I am on Team Mickey too! JUst really getting started today.:cool1:

Healthy new habits to start today. Drink 64 oz of H2O, record everything I eat, commit to at least 20 min of exercise a day. Even on a jam packed day, I can't think of any excuse not to squeeze in 20 min. Quick ideas: walk the dog, hit heavy bag, DDR Max, pushups, sit-ups, lunges while watching TV. Start Jillians 30 day shred.

I am so happy that I found this group. I feel so much better getting my thoughts out of my head and out on paper. I feel like I can really hit the ground running!

Dailies:
Reboot Laundry
Reboot Dishwasher
Quick pickup of house
Clear 100 emails
Edit and post 1 sports event
1 Thankyou card
What's for dinner?
Clean out one drawer/shelf ect
Min of 20 min exercise (30 day shred)- WOW! I can't believe that 20 minutes. Pretty intense. I thought that I was in okay shape too, but that killed me! I love it though!
Record food

Today
Look for a new Marathon
Walk with bud and beagle
Clean out Freezer
Pay bills
Clear paper work
Start Christmas cards (ya I'm a little behind!)
DS - Basketball tonight!
Quick trip to grocery store
Fill car up

Added - Clean up carpet. Dog got into hot cocoa mix while I was gone. UUuuuuugggggg - Dang make that two packs of cocoa mix! LOVE Woolite oxy deep carpet cleaner. Even though he licked the cocoa and pretty much ground it into the carpet, it came out. WOOOO HOOO! Call Amazon - kindle on the fritz

My Fun Treats
start looking into dives for upcoming cruise
look for Hotel for pre cruise fun - Harry Potter and Kennedy Space Center

ETA: I guess somehow I put a thumbs down on my post-hmmm wonder how I did that?? :rotfl:

Good morning/early afternoon ;)

Off to a good start today. I've already completed 8 pages and am hoping to get 8 more done. Then I need to bag & tag my holiday swap stuff.

Talked to MIL today and FIL won't eat, he needs to eat something to keep up with the pain meds, etc. She's worried. Anyone have yummy, easy to eat/digest ideas?

Have a great Monday :)

Sorry to hear about your FIL. What about chicken noodle soup? Sometimes the aroma makes you hungry? Pudding? I know not to healthy, but it's food. Does he like yogurt?

When Granny was soo sick w/ her cancer Pappy used to make her mashed potatoes and gravy... and some days she wanted buttered peas... (he would melt butter and then add the peas into it...) she loved them. Only way my PJ will eat peas is if they are made Granny styled with Pappy's receipe. LOL

I sometimes make eggroll stuffing, ground beef then add shredded carrots, onions & cabbage (use food processor with grater blade) with all of the veggies grated it is easy to eat & still good for you (sometimes I'll add in squash)

Thanks guys those are all great food ideas :) I'll pass them along!

Nan that's how I make my peas too :)

It's not unusual for a person's taste buds to be off when they have cancer. Many medical professionals recommend protein drinks several times a day for nutrients.

All our best for your FIL.

My Monday to do:

make beds
Feed cats
wood in the woodstove
empty dishwasher
Mt. Washmore shuffle
was dishes in the sink
write in DD's communications book
get DD up and ready for school
work

Cheryl, hope your FIL is better soon.....I always love won-ton soup when I'm having stomach issues.
