Absolutely brilliant, do see it if you get the chance, took Callum and 5 of his friends yesterday for his birthday treat, its really funny, I think the adults were laughing more than the kids.

Both DS's are desperate to see this....they keep going on and on about it!! So we'll be seeing it at the weekend when DH is home. They want me to by those tea bags with the free Gromit mug too!!!!! :)

My youngest DD has been a Wallace & Grommit fan since forever, and she can't wait to see this film. Her other W & G videos have started to get all grainy so I've bought the new DVD with them all on for her for Christmas.

Aww! Mandy , yes my son too has loved Wallace and Gromit for years in fact Gromit was his first cuddly toy and has travelled all over the world with him, in fact he once got lost in a hotel in heathrow and they sent him back to us in a box full of little milks and biscuits 'in case he got hungry' so for that reason alone The Novotel at heathrow is always my recommended hotel for clients!!
You must take her to see this film, she'll love it :goodvibes :dog:

My dh wants me to buy that for him as well! :rotfl2:

DBF wants to see this ~ Probably go at the weekend :teeth:

My 2 ds's love Wallace & Gromit 2, they both have a Gromit teddy. When my youngest ds was a baby he was always crying but put W & G on and he'd stop, so needless 2 say our copy is also very grainy

They also play the Gromit game on the Sky games page  , keeps them out of trouble lol

Taking DD and her friends next saturday as late birthday treat. I have five sets of bunny ears for us to wear in the cinema.

Hope it is good.

This is a must-see for us :) Nice to hear it's good, thank you!

Pleased that everyone is rating this. On-line trailers look very good.
Think we'll go see this when we are at SIL next week :)

We got talked into going to see it yesterday, by DD, and thoroughly enjoyed it :sunny:
Don't know whether anyone else had the mini support movie about the penquins from the 'Madagascar' movie but that was great fun too :rotfl:

Dying to go and see this, it comes out here tomorrow!!

And if there are penguins as well... what can I say?!?!

Yes Loved the madagascar penguins, was great to get 2 films in one, do you remember when you used to get that all the time?

Saw it yesterday, it was brilliant. You could watch it 3 or 4 times and see new things every time!
I loved all the puns and references, the huge carrot with "Harveys" Nobody got that one but me...

The penguins were also fantastic!

So, when's the DVD coming out?!?!

So, when's the DVD coming out?!?!

No idea but will be on the top of my shopping list!
What a terrible shame the factory storing all the seta from 'a close shave' and 'the wrong trousers' burnt down!

Also the film is now number 1 in the states, just wondering if they actually 'get' the british sense of humour?

A Yank from Iowa checking in here.

We just took the kids to see Wallace and Gromit: Curse of the Were-Rabbit yesterday, and we LOVED it!!!!

Gromit, especially, has more emotion than many human actors!!!

One question: The New York Times reviewer said that Lady Tottington's nickname ("Totty") is slightly naughty. Not being versed in British slang, can someone fill me in on what it means? :confused3

Thanks!!

'Totty' is slang for an attractive woman.
DH says 'fanciable / attractive' but not someone you'd necessarily want to marry......... ;)

Does this help?
:grouphug:
