The Crystal Palace early entry???

the park opens at 9am and we have reservations at 8:25....does this mean we enter through the special gates? How early should we arrive?

we are staying at CBR--what time should we leave there? do we take the bus?

Even if you have a car, I think it easier to take the bus to MK. The bus drop off is right by the gates, whereas parking is really far away. So I would plan to be at the bus stop at CBR around 7:15, in the hopes of arriving by 8ish.

At any park, there is usually a gate marked for early breakfast ADR entrance. After you go through bag check, there will probably be a line on the far right side for you to go in.

Carry your confirmation number with you, as they are supposed to check those before letting people in (although they never have when I've gone).

You want to be there a bit early, because you will get to walk down Main Street through an almost empty park. It's a spectacular view, and great time to take photos!

Yes, a little over an hour should be enough time. I would be heading to the bus stop just after 7 am. CSR is one of the further resorts from MK so you need to allow enough time for waiting for a bus in case you have just missed one and about 15 to 20 minutes travel time. Although buses start around 6.15 am to accommodate guests who need to get to early ADRs, they do not run as regularly as they do in regular hours so I would play it safe.

We had an 8:15 ressie at Crystal Palace earlier this week. Gates opened at 7:45 for anyone with breakfast reservations. They didn't check for a confirmation number (honor system, I guess). The gates for breakfast entry were on the far right.

Bring your appetite and your camera! This was one of our favorite meals of the week. The food was among the best we had, and DD5 kept asking to go back.
