Can anyone tell me approximately how much it would cost to take a taxi from POP to the nearest Walmart or Target? We'd like to get a few things for our room on our arrival day

Think someone mentioned it was like $25 but you can also get wegoshop.com to buy stuff for you and deliver it to your room at the resort - really reasonably priced and doesn't use up you precious Disney park time that is what we chose to do this time... just created a list on their website and they go to whatever store you want - we chose walmart because there were a few things we wanted that weren't groceries - shampoo, conditioner, sunblock...

I have not done this myself, but I have read that people will take a towncar from MCO instead of magical express, because they will stop and let you pick up whatever you need on the way. It seems that it was $100 or so. Too pricey for me, but some people like to do their own shopping. It seems that for a few more dollars, you could rent a car, but then you have to drive... the delivery service is sounding pretty good.

Good morning fellow DISers - only 4 weeks to go!!!!!!!!!1

So excited - won't be long now - we are headed to Bangor, Maine this weekend for a quick anniversary/shopping trip for the day on Saturday - would've done overnight but Irene is spoiling my plans oh well... time to get the last few new clothes we need for the trip...

So I have to know - who's your favorite disney character - mine is either Minnie or Alice...

Mine is a tie between Daisy duck or Tinkerbelle.

Nice! This time next week I'll be boarding a plane at BWI headed to Pop. Only 7 days left until we're home.
I don't know what's up with my ticker though. It lost a day somewhere.

My ticker is off by one day also. Originally we were to arrive on the 3rd but then we changed to the 4th. I didn't want my ticker to start all over again so I just left it.

27 days to go!!!!!!! I am working lots of nights but that will end shortly at least only on the weekends!! I can't wait cause I can actually participate in DIS'ing....LOL I come home at 1am and read and get so excited our trip is sooo close!!! Today I am going out to get some MORE clothes for the kids! Once I am finished sewing and putting outfits together I will post pictures. Well off to do some Disney Vacay shopping!!
