The could we?? should we?? PTR **12/9 **Home from WDW**

Aren't they such a great family!! I was looking at your ticker, seems you are going to be in WDW around the time all of us are, are you staying onsite? Congrats on your first trip!!

Yes they are a great family. Yes we will be there at the same time. We are going from Nov 28-Dec 10. We are staying at AKL in a savannah view room. My dh doesn't know that we upgraded. He thinks we are staying at Pop, but I received a pin code for 40% off a deluxe so I was able to upgrade and stay within my budget. My dh thinks that this is a once in a life time trip.:lmao: He has no clue what he is getting into. He has never been to Disney and I have been but not since I was 6 years old and I have loved Disney ever since. I know once he sees how Lexi (she will be 5 when we go) reacts he will want to bring her back. She has him wrapped around her finger.

Great job on the upgrade an oh my goodness a 5 year old going for her first time, that is fantastic! We took an almost 5 year old on her first trip in November, it was an experience I will never forget :goodvibes.

I am looking forward to it. She loves animals and ever since she was 3 she has said she wants to, (and I am quoting her here) "work at a zoo but not with cows":rotfl2: I have no idea why she doesn't want to work with cows as she says she likes them. So she will flip over the animals at the Lodge.

I have done a good job getting her addicted to Disney. I bought a sing a long dvd and it shows different rides at Disney Land, (yes she knows the difference between the 2,) she can tell you which castle is where. When she watches it she always asks if we will go on the rides with her. This morning she was pretending she was riding Dumbo with my dh.

Sorry...I got way behind over the weekend.

Toni - Congrats on the purse!! It's adorable.
Terry - Your photography skills amaze me everytime I see your pictures. I may borrow one or two for my background, if that's ok with you.

Thanks on the purse.... I think Terry is getting tired of me showing it to him and asking him if it the most beautiful thing he has ever seen.... I do it about every 20 minutes or so...

He totally won't mind if you use some of his pics... :goodvibes

Tailor's birthday is December 8th... We get back very late on the 7th...

I normally do her birthday party earlier than her actual party just because people get busy with holiday parties in December... But with us being in WDW I am think I will do it after... I may even do the evening of her birthday... I dunno...

Any-who... I was thinking about taking a birthday card with us and every time we see a character we can have them sign it... Then I will pick up a gift and at her party she would have a card and present from teh characters...

What do you guys think???

I also want to buy her gifts from Mommy and Daddy while we are there... I was thinking about one of those Disney girl dolls... And buying a few outfits for it as well...

definitely buying birthday gifts and doing the card would lessen the sting of not being able to go....:thumbsup2

Yeah, I think you are right... She has a list a mile long of things she would like for us to bring her back... And between the normal souvies we will get for leaving them, she will also get some for her birthday and Christmas gifts... SO she will end up with pretty much her entire list...

Alec is going to be much harder since he is older...

Congrats on the upgrade... I would love to stay in a Savannah View... Lexi will fall over when she sees how amazing WDW is... :thumbsup2

T-Shirts are always nice, but i know as a kid, I wanted stuff not clothes. Candy, anything Gameboy compatible or electronic might be nice. I wonder if they sell that kind of stuff at WDW. I don't think I've ever seen any? Team Disney is always nice too...

She loved feeding the ducks... So we are going to try and get better about taking her to do that...

We stopped by Lowe's after feeding the ducks, and I of course am using my new purse, well we walk down the main aisle and a lady points my purse out to her hubby... Then we go down a side aisle and some kid tries to touch it!!! :scared1: I wanted to yell out, "RESPECT THE PERIMETER!!!" :headache: But I refrained... :lmao:

 LUV ur purse and it is a good size too it looks like. :lovestruc
Wow Tailor has grown so much it looks like since Sept! :cool2:

My purse really is the perfect size... I love it... :lovestruc

Tailor has grown like a weed... I tried to lift her up last night and ended up hurting myself! She is solid too...

Okay DIS friends... I am at a crossroads... :guilty:

Do I carry around the Dooney purse during my trip, or take my Nike mini backpack that is perfect for park touring...

I want to use the Dooney, but I know it will annoy me after awhile... I love how easy the Nike mini backpack is carry around...

HELP ME!!! What would you do???

I am especially interested in Jordan's perspective... I am sure he is an expert on the perfect purse for park touring...

I know I am probably late on this since I am so behind on your report but I say use it for dinner and resort hoping, DTD, your flight down etc...

I want to take it so bad, but I am afraid something will happen to it...

Terry said we can go on our arrival night and get the sketch tote, so i would have that one with me to use if I wanted to...

With our Disney Visa we get 10% off at World of Disney and some other places, I wonder if Summer Lace is one of them, we could take the monorail over there and get my purse after our dinner... :scratchin
