The Cool TVs at the Grand California Hotel

We just got back and the room we were in (courtyard room) had at least a 37 inch (maybe 42 inch) flat panel LCD tv with a DVD player. Just wanted to let everyone know to bring along DVDs. We were in 5403 which was a standard view room, but overlooked the courtyard. The cool thing was the Monorail ran right under the room (actually, it runs under the fourth floor, but close enough). I hope to get the same room again when we go in October.

On a side note, the TV helped to sell my wife on the "need" to get one for our bedroom - so now I just need to find the same model. The bad side of mounting them on the wall was I couldn't figure out the model. It's an LG TV, but I think it's older (or Disney had them made custom - LG does that I see on their website).

The last time we stayed at the Grand was in early Dec 2006 and our room did not have the new flat panels. I am excited to enjoy one - we stay there again in Sept. We have one in our bedroom and it really is awesome - good luck getting yours!

We just got back yesterday and were in a DTD view room (5143). It had the flat panel TV and we loved it! Of course, we weren't in the room that much to enjoy it!

We were on the 3rd floor and also had the falt panel TV and DVD player. I didn't realize it was a change. The dresser and builtin refrig were very nicely done I thought.

We just got home last night after staying at the GCH for 5 nights and LOVED the LG flat panel TV! Now if I could just figure out a way to afford one for my very own!
