As for Obama's misspeak, he said my muslim faith, Stephanopolis is the one who corrected Obama. Obama didn't correct himself. I don't know.... I'd like to think he's a Christian but anyone who stays and believes in the tripe that Jeremiah Wright espouses.....

What military was he going to join? Russia's? This is the first time I've heard this and I think it's because of McCain's being a POW. Obama is trying to cash in on that.

Drudge has changed the NYT story tomorrow on Sarah Palin's baby from "expose" to "detailed story." So, they're still goin' after her baby. I guess they've just decided to hand this election to John McCain on a silver platter. Think about what that newspaper once was, and what trash it has become today…

Yeah. I am happy to cut Obama slack on that whole exchange. I do think it is hilarious though......this guy is major league gaff prone.......and his aren't endearing (like my man GWB) I think Obama is seriously rattled. Sarah Palin has him rattled......and he is just now realizing that John McCain is sitting on his Six.........and he has to go talk Foreign Policy with him.....and right quick.....

I read something in our local papers (mind you, I come from the blue state of Illinois...Obama-land ). Anyways, a so-called Republican was making some general comments, but then said either way, we were going to be stuck with Obama. I was really struck...I just have been thinking positive all this time (mind you, I am WORRIED about Obama). Anyways, what do you think? Do you think we are doomed or what??? I havent' let my mind even wander there to that very dark and gloomy thought...thoughts?

That was strange! I was just reading about it. The title of the article is, "Obama's Verbal Slip Fuels His Critics". But why is it a "slip"? Did the journalist mean mistake? It was just a strange thing to make a mistake about, especially with all of the hoopla that he's dealt with in regards to religion. Anyway, I thought "Slip" was an interesting word choice.

I don't know. I can see the gist of what he was saying, but as a christian - I would never refer to ownership of the muslim faith. And he said my muslim faith - as a christian, those words would never cross my mouth.

I'm not saying he's a muslim - just an interesting slip IMO, one not easily made by a devout christian.
