i'd have thought a dishwasher with disposal would be popular enough to find several...but i've found this one by GE:
http://www.ajmadison.com/cgi-bin/ajmadison/GLD4450NCS.html?mv_pc=fr&cm_mmc=Google+Products-_-00263-_-GE-_-GLD4450NCS

oddly enough they only barely mention the disposal feature:
Wash Features
Cycles: 4
Delay Start: Yes
Dry Type: Heated
Hard Food Disposer: Yes
High Temperature Wash: Yes

the one on t.v. was described as having a small disposer wired to the bottom (i presume near the drain), but i don't remember the brand.

We just got home. Our daughter had tumbling and cheer leading practice. Thanks so much, I'm off to the AJ Madison site!!!

OMG!!!!

Now the media (well, it's GMA) is going to ask William Ayers some "tough and hard hitting" questions tomorrow on their show.

NOW?!?!?! NOW?!!?!?!?

Subsonicradio?

It's the neat radio website wonderlanne told us about the other day that has literally hundreds of hours worth of Disney theme park and resort music. They have set feeds of types of musics, or a request line. If you register, you get so many points which you use to request songs. The points regenerate every 24 hours; you get more points by posting there. You need that to be able to request the really long tracks. You don't have to join to listen though.

It's very exciting. Everytime I've been online since she told us about it, I have it playing. It's like I'm back in WDW! :yay:

When's the last time Dianne Sawyer asked a Hard Hitting question?

Hillary as SoS???

:faint:

How many more from the Clinton administration is he going to tap?

Well yanno, when she leans in and gets all "squinty", you know a tough question is coming...

:lmao:

Fortunately, I'm usually working during these moments. If i do happen to be in the breakroom for 1 of them I always wonder if she lost a contact or something.

Just popping back in, still need to catch up on posts.

Debbie and blestmom and others: Did y'all figure out how to get Subsonicradio working yet? I'll try to give walk-through instructions if you still need them.

No luck just yet - same as last night -- wmp just keeps popping off.....:confused3

Is FFM, me? Do I have my very own acronym?! I can't take credit for the link, I didn't post it, but I love having an acronym of very own!!!

If you want, though, you can call me Hil, all of my friends do :thumbsup2 :goodvibes

Yup, FFM was you. I like to come up with snazzy nicknames for my fellow posters on the message boards I belong to. I'll call you Hil from now on though. :goodvibes

Me, too. And I didn't get pregnant until I was 37, despite all the trampy high heels I've worn throughout life.

:lmao:

I was actually going to post this over on the Obama thread, but decided it would be safer to post this here.

To Obama supporters. I promise I will NEVER say that I hate president elect Obama.

The word hate is used way too freely, and to say that you hate your president is the lowest of lows.

Considering the mess that this country is in, I will also pray for this president elect and our country.

I agree. I hate his policies, but I don't hate him. I seriously dislike him, but I don't hate him. I know there's a lot of debate about the "He's not my President" idea. The way I look at it is, he's not yet because the President is still President Bush. But when he is sworn in, unfortunately he will be my President. I won't like it, but I can't make myself say he's not my President. Namely because I always wanted to smack people I knew upside the head when they said it about Bush, and I'm not much into hypocrisy. I yelled at my TV when Obama said it during one of the debates too... "John, your President blah blah blah." I was miffed at McCain for not saying "Excuse me, he is your President too." Just because Obama and Bush haters act like children doesn't mean I'm going to.

Thanks. I enjoyed this story very much.

I have one of my own I would like to share. A true story.

It was July 1991 & I was a young soldier coming home on leave after being stationed overseas since 1987 (most recently in Desert Storm). I was sitting at a Bar (go figure) in DFW airport wearing my Class A's and struck up a conversation with an older gentlemen. We talked about military service and life in general for about an hour.

Near the end of this conversation he asked me where home was. I replied Houston and I'm just waiting for my connecting flight. He then asked me if I wouldn't mind driving home. I was somewhat confused but said that wouldn't be a problem really (uh, had to sober up a bit of course). The gentleman then offered me a car, with no strings attached. Said he had the title and everything and was just looking to help a soldier out.

I asked him why. I wasn't too concerned that he was trying to get something over on me (being a combat veteran & handy with my fists, I expected it would be a short struggle). He said that he was a young soldier once & was sitting in an airport on his way home after serving in the Korean War. He was sitting in a bar at an airport and an older gentleman gave him a free car.

He was just returning the favor.

The car I received was a 1972 Cadillac Fleetwood Brougham with 60,000 miles on it and every gadget that 1972 could muster (everything worked too). The car had a 492 motor and probably got about 7 mfg (but it got this mileage really fast)! The car was so big it actually had fold down footrests in the back-seat....so your feet could touch the floor! I drove this car for nearly 3 years before it threw a rod, and had to be put down. My wife and I both cried when we had to leave "The Bad-illac" behind.

I never forgot this act of kindness. DW and I and kept in contact with the gentleman until his unfortunate passing in Winter 2006.

Christmas 2007 my turn came. I have a life-long buddy who stayed in the service and his unit was rotating back to Fort Hood from Iraq. I asked him to pick out someone from his unit who could really use a car and met them at DFW on their way back to Ft Hood.

The recipient was a PFC with special needs twins. Nice kid. Nice family.

The car? Well, it wasn't a Cadillac, but it was a very clean minivan with 35,000 miles. I understand that it is still running just fine.

It was really cool to be a part of passing along something positive.

I highly recommend it. :)

Wonderful story! God bless you (and your wife) for doing that. So many people these days simply don't "pay it forward." And that's a shame. I live in a huge military area, so I know how hard the life is.

I've been screaming since the primaries that the OS are fools to not believe the truth about Obama - to not believe how his utter lack of morals and his 'will do anything to climb the political ladder' attitude allowed him to knowingly and willingly use an unrepentant terrorist to further climb his political ladder. Obama is a user and he'll use anyone that will help him out.

Then he throws them under the bus. Sadly, they come crawling back and beg for more from him. Pretty pathetic.

The OS simply don't care. They think that as long as someone with a 'D' attached to their name presides inside the White House all of their worries and problems will fade away.

I think this is true for some of them. I used to think some people I knew were just too idealistic and refusing to believe the truth because of it. But now I've sadly realized most of them just don't care. Ayers is a-okay to a lot of them because if he was hired as a professor, he must be normal. Yeah right. Colleges are full of people who hate America, hate people who are different than them, and on and on.

Ugh - totally off topic.

I'm a direct sales rep for a home party company. Today they declared chapter 11. They were very positive about it and claim that it will strengthen the company.

I sent out an email to my customers and a few of them are furious as they need supplies to finish their projects OR they just bought things from me. I had no idea it was coming.

The company isn't closing down - it's for bankruptcy protection and they are confident that things are only going to go up from here, but I didn't feel right in my own mind to withhold that info from my clients. I'm thinking I may have done the wrong thing.

Darn it all.

Okay, back to your normal Conservative thread (and food too).

I'm sorry MM! I'm glad your MRI went well though.

honugirl, I hope things go well as you lead up to surgery. Will pray for you.

OMG!!!!

NOW?!?!?! NOW?!!?!?!?

Naturally. Now that the election is over, they're going to start slightly doing their jobs again because nothing they say will keep Obama out of office. Pathetic.

ACK! Its a flower! :)

OK, dh doesn't get it...I was proud of my picture redo! What do you think?

I'm going to post and then try to catch up.

My friends' son killed himself this morning. :sad1: He just turned 18. We just came home from their house. It's been a really really sad day. Please say a prayer for the Bailey family in the loss of their son and brother. His little sister is my DD's friend. He cheered competitively with Ashley one year, and his sister did for three years and they were friends. I want to comfort them the best I can, but I know there is not a lot I can do but be there and listen and pray. I'm worried about her after everyone leaves.

:sad2: :sad2: :sad2: :sad2: :sad2: :sad2: :sad2: :sad2: :sad2:
