Prayer is about the only thing we can rely on these days. You'd think the GOP would've learned their lesson after the march to the slaughterhouse that was the 2006 midterms, but nooooo... left the same people in charge and didn't clean house. And as far as Obama's "Hope!" message... I don't believe in "hoping" for a better tomorrow, a better election, or a different candidate who can save the GOP. I'm praying for one. Prayer and action gets things done. Hope does not.

blestmom, what about something like Riches? I named my hamster that when I was little. In our family, my Nana always says she has "so many riches," in that she's been so blessed in so many ways. And so before I got a hamster, I randomly thought of that and decided to name it Riches.

If not, there's always Mickey, Donald, or Goofy! Although I'm partial to Donald.

Alaskans voted to change the law after our former governor appointed his daughter to the position.

I can see the necessity. I'd have voted to change it too.

Did you try looking on Disney's website? I was checking dates in March, April, and May, but they all had at least some of the Deluxe's available. The "Special Offers" page says it's for Values and Villas, but if you follow the link to the special reservations page, the offer popped up for every Deluxe that still had availability. The Floridian included.

Already had my plane tix. So I'm locked in to my dates. I wish that I hadn't gotten them booked yet because this sale is a good way to afford a deluxe on my moderate budget.

Check the website for your dates. I was just on it a minute ago, and it was still working. They may well have something. I was only referring to the months I checked for us.

Or, give me your dates and I'll check for you. WL is an awesome, awesome place. I wish I could live there during the cold weather here in VA.

ETA: I'm randomly guessing here, but I plugged Feb. 7th-14th, 14th-21st, and 21st-28th into the reservation system, and they do have WL available at the cheap rate. The type of view available varies though (i.e. one week they had no standard rooms). Unless you're looking to stay longer or the dates you happen to be going are all booked, the CM you spoke with was wrong with a capital "W."

Like I told my DH, if JM had won, we would have all said "Thank you, Lord!" and went on our merry way. When our prayer life is determined by who wins or loses an election, we have our priorities wrong. We should be on our knees regardless of who wins or loses.

The dems and their "do nothing" agenda.....worked perfectly for them. They did all they could to help weaken the economy. It almost didn't work. They finally got the panic and results they wanted...but, at what cost to our Country?

Debbie isn't the only single gal out there. T&G, would this guy you refer to happen to be in the 25-29 year old age range? Is he a conservative? If so, send him to Virginia! If he's in grad school, law school or med school, it can count as community service hours under Obama's "mandatory volunteerism" act.
