Hi guys
I had an idea and I pm'ed with Blest about it
She agrees that it is a good idea
My idea is to start a Yahoo group email list
Its not censored and we can talk about ANYTHING
We can have any clip art we want
We can also coninue to post here,
Let me know what you think

Sounds good to me!

Both campaigns have technically ended. The election is over. Therefore, ANY Obama artwork in their signatures is technically NOT "official" campaign materials.

How about removing ALL political materials from signatures? THAT is the fairest solution? And, we wouldn't have to worry about what is "offensive", etc.

I think, I read where that was a gray area. I have complained about what "I" felt were offensive siggies....three times. I received a response once. Both siggies are still there. I asked what was considered "okay". I never received a response. I don't know what's acceptable and what's not.:confused3

Kinda like the pornography definition. "i know when i see it"
Yeah, that's helpful.

Actually, the chair Obama is sitting in is a *smidge* closer to the centerline of the rug.

But it doesn't bug me...

much.

:rotfl2:

It's totally annoying me that the side tables weren't lined up as well.:headache:

Stop it, you guys. Stop. Please. I didn't notice Obama's chair was closer. I didn't see the side tables. Now, it's all I can see. Ohhhhhhhh, the humanity…

Actually, that was Dh:rotfl:
:rotfl: :cool2:

I think a yahoo group would be fine, but I would PM the link to it. You don't want it getting infiltrated.

I'm going to watch MST3K: Santa Clause Conquers the Martians, get my brain off the Ovular Office pic.
My favorite scene:
Joel: What do you guys want?
Gypsy: I want a pony.
Joel: We don't have room for a pony.
Crow: I wanna decide who lives and who dies. :rotfl2:
And the mad scientist's WishSquisher turns an awesome gift into Underoos that won't fit for two years.

when i read through the sticki containing the signature information, i noticed somebody said the "yes on prop. 8" images were offensive. that's not negative; somebody just wanted to get images conveying a different opinion eliminated. as i said, i cannot stand to see you-know-who's face constantly either, because it just serves to remind me that his policies are offensive to me. anyway...my plunger image is back sans face.

Fox DOES have the last word — every single say in the ratings game, and it drives the liberals insane!

It drives me insane, too -- BOR reported that Fox outdid all the major networks the week of the election but H still got elected?!?!?!? But, I have to remember that I used to avoid the news, too - boy, those were the good ol' days!

Loco, your comment reminds me of this, from redstate.com --

Is found in this headline: "Can Obama Save the Media Industry?"

And from the article:

How long can the Obama-fueled print-run last? That's unclear, but publishers are banking on increased reader interest and circulation up until the inauguration. The New York Times is hawking, for example, a reprint from the Election Day issue of just the front page; the press plates of the front page; a collection of Obama photographs and a commemorative issue of "Elections & Inauguration: George Washington to Barack Obama." The St. Petersburg (Fla.) Times, among others, is weighing special sections to insert in its post-Inauguration Day editions. Next week, USA Today and ABC News are jointly releasing a book and DVD titled "America Speaks: The Historic 2008 Election." Separately, Gannett's flagship is considering a commemorative edition covering the inauguration.

and here is the Newsweek article it is linked to --
