The "Cons" to the Dining Plan?

If I'm reading your signature correctly you were just there fairly recently - if it were me I'd be thrilled to be going again so soon. Just look at this as a new type of experience for you and your family; you'll be free to experience more than just what the limitations on the dining plan offer. Not to mention, after the first time we rented a car there was no looking back - no more dependancy on Disney buses! LOL

Okay, if it's between the DDP or Nani and Papa...no dilemma. Otherwise, I'd choose staying on property...less hassle. IMO
