River: River looked up at Daniel as he put his arm around her with sad eyes. "okay" she said in a whisper walking with him and leaning into him slightly.

Daniel: "I hope she'll be okay," Daniel said. He really did. Max had been mysterious so far, but there seemed to be increasingly more to her than what she chose to portray.

River: "me too" River said biting her lip nervously. She just couldn't shake the feeling that something was very very wrong, she knew Max was clearly upset, but there seemed to be something more.

Daniel: Daniel was unsure of what to say, so he just wrapped his arms around River as they walked.

Max: Max entered the school and headed into the kitchen. She got out the bread and started violently making herself a sandwich.

Professor Collins: The professor was already in the kitchen when Max came in. After observing her, she asked, "Max, is there something wrong?"

Max: Max sighed inwardly. "No, I'm fine," Max pretty much growled.

Professor Collins: "Are you sure? Did something happen? If something happened, I can take care of it."

Max: Max dropped the knife on the table. "Professor, I am perfectly fine. There is nothing wrong," she said evenly. She finished making her sandwich and sat down at one of the dining room tables.

Professor Collins: Whatever you're dealing with, you don't have to do it alone.

Max: Max scoffed and didn't answer, though sarcasm radiated off her.

River: River reached to Daniel's arm with both of her hands, holding on to his arm that was around her as if to make sure it didn't go anywhere. She walked in silence with Daniel.

Margo: Despite her action plan to undo the damage she had done, Margo still felt awful. She was such a good person, never setting a foot out of line, that when she did, it had a way of consuming her. She wanted to throw up, to somehow turn back time and undo the things she had said. She had just been so mad, unlike anything she had ever felt. But Max hadn't entirely deserved her wrath. It was just an avalanche of emotion, of all the feelings she had been holding in about her siblings since she had gotten here. Margo was just so confused. Part of her wanted to talk to someone, but she knew they wouldn't be able to make anymore since of it than her. On top of it all, she had the irrational sinking feeling people were going to think she was a terrible person from now on. So, she just traipsed along behind, once again holding it all in.

Jack: Jack looked after Amelia curiously as he saw her say something but couldn't possibly hear. He shook his head before sighing and making his way to the school. Walking into the kitchen, he went straight to the fridge searching for anything to eat.

Alex: Alex sighed sadly before making her way into the kitchen after walking with Toby and Margo. She felt bad about Margo feeling upset but knew she would talk to her later. When Margo said that they should try to make Max see we would care if she were to...go away, Alex had no idea how to do that without her knowing. Sighing again, Alex grabbed a bowl and some fruit.

Toby: Toby walked into the kitchen staying close to Alex. He felt sick over what Max had said, he wondered if he was really that bad. He grabbed a bottle of water out of the fridge and held onto it not opening it, and looking around the kitchen trying to find something that looked even semi-appetizing.

Alex: Alex grabbed the lettuce and salad dressing from the fridge before making herself a salad with an apple and some grapes on the side. She looked at Toby and frowned, her eyebrows pinching together in worry. "Are you alright Toby?" She asked quietly walking to him from the counter.

Toby: "umm...yeah I guess" he said shrugging, he just had an upset feeling in his stomach it bothered him that anyone thought he took this school for granted.

Alex: Alex nodded her head before saying simply," Good." She then grabbed her lunch and sat down in the first seat at a dining table, quietly eating.

Jack: Jack finished his sandwich and quickly made his way to sit near Alex. "I really am sorry for earlier and my overreaction," He said to her sincerely hoping no one else would hear and expect him to be this kind and talkative everyday.

Alex: Alex half-smiled and shook her head," It's fine. What do friends do if we don't overreact sometimes?" She continued to eat not seeing Jack frown as she said 'friends'.

Toby: Toby smiled slightly glad Alex didn't ask him to go into detail how could he complain that he was upset because he had money. This was the underlying thing wasn't it. He had money and was therefore upset that people thought he might not appreciate all he is given. He looked at Jack with a serious expression when he came over and smiled a small sincere smile at his apology as if to say "me too" to both Jack and Alex.

Max: Max chomped wearily on her sandwich at her table alone. She refused to make eye contact with anyone around. She would have preferred i she hadn't had to burn bridges this way, but Max knew she couldn't get close to anyone. She wasn't cut up about breaking ties, but they were relatively innocent, and Max was a little guilty about hurting them. Margo on the other hand, well, Max was mad at her. Max knew other people had hard lives too, and Margo most probably did. But it so didn't excuse hurting Max. And that was how she saw it. Yes, it wasn't entirely impartial, but Max hurt people to protect them from herself. It was a neccessary evil.

Daniel: Daniel walked in with River and headed to the others. He greeted them quietly and started making a sandwich. Every once in a while he glanced around at everyone, and if someone looked worried of unhappy, he would flash them a quick, sympathetic smile before he looked away. Daniel knew his role wasn't to figure things out. He was the emotional and moral support.

Alex: Alex looked up at Toby and smiled seeing him do the same before chuckling to herself. Continuing to eat her lunch with a slight hum under her breath.

Jack: The corner of Jack's lips lifted in a small crooked smile towards Toby and nodded his head slightly. Going back to his lunch, he took a large bite out of his small sandwich. At least to him.

Alex: Alex stared at Jack eating his sandwich in shock before swallowing her salad in her mouth. Pointing at the large sandwich, at least to her, Alex said," How can you eat that? It weighs more than me!"

Alex: Alex had greeted Daniel kindly when he and River walked in, grateful for him seeming to try and help everyone. She found it very kind and friendly as he didn't ask questions or such, he just seemed to be trying to support and help everyone quietly. Briefly looking at Max, Alex frowned. Not because of what she said but because of how she was alone and not looking at anyone. Alex wanted to talk to Max but already knew it would be a waste of time.

River: River made a sandwich beside Daniel, she leaned her head forward slightly in a way that caused her hair to cover most of her face.

Toby: Toby smiled a real smile at Alex's comment on Jack's sandwich. He turned and looked at Alex. He put one hand up to his face blocking his mouth from Jack's view as he said quietly "if you want to invite him over, he can sit with us, I don't mind" he shrugged a small shrug. He really did want to try and get along with Jack and he figured after ambushing him trying to protect Alex this was the least he could do.

Daniel: Daiel finished making his lunch and washed his hands. Turning around, he glanced at River and her pretty hair. He loved her hair. Hew walked over towards her. He planned on getting his plate, but instead he found himself playing with a lock of her hair. He realized what he was doing and drpped it, looking embaressed. "Uh, sorry about that. Wanna go sit by Alex and Toby and Jack and them?"

OOC: Do you just want to speed through the afternoon?

Alex: Alex couldn't help but grin at Toby's offer and nod her head excitedly. "Thanks Toby," She said with a smile before waving over Jack. "C'mon weirdo, why don't you sit with us?"

Jack: Jack smirked at Alex before chuckling and nodding his head. Grabbing his plate with his sandwich he made his way to the pair and sat down by Alex. "Thanks," He told them both before taking another bite of his sandwich.

Ooc: Yeah, that would help speed things up a bit.

OOC: I think that's fine.

Alex: Alex grinned at Toby before finishing her salad and popping her grapes in her mouth. Looking at the fruit, she started thinking about other foods quickly coming to broccoli. "Am I the only one who thinks broccoli look like small bushes? Oh, and mushrooms look like aliens?" She asked randomly while inspecting a grape before eating it.

Jack: Jack stared at Alex curiously before looking at Toby, then back at the girl. "Random," He noted before smiling slightly," But no, you're not the only one. I hate both of those but I do think they look like aliens and bushes."
