River: River smiled, she had bought some money to this school, but her grandma called it her "in case of emergency" money, and she figured buying souvenirs didn't fall under that category. But it didn't really bother her. She was used to seeing things and knowing she couldn't have them.

Alex: "Are you going to get anything?" She asked starting towards the counter to pay. She double counts the money before giving it to the clerk behind the counter.

Toby: Toby shrugged "I don't know" he said, he hadn't seen anything that jumped out at him "I might get something somewhere else."

Clerk: The clerk smiled at Daniel. "Well, there's city maps at every bus station if you need them." He then smiled at Margo and scanned the cards, took her money, and completed the transaction. "You need a bag for that miss?"

Daniel: Daniel grinned at Alex and Toby. Toby was quickly become friends with most people, despite being a day late. He was glad he was easily making friends. Max, however, was a different story. There she was, off by herself again. And River was still the only one who seemed to have befriended her.

Max: Max felt eyes on her and looked up to see Daniel looking at her. She held his gaze before he looked away. Max wondered why he'd been looking at her, then she suspected he suspected something about her.

Margo: Even though it was only a few postcards, Margo decided a bag would be useful, especially since they would be walking around town. "Yes, please."

Nate: Nate didn't have any money with him, so he just walked around.

Amelia: Amelia sat in her room, alone again. She somewhat regretted not going out with the other kids. She had seen them leave in the helicopter, and she wondered where they went. She didn't know what to do now, so she just took out her old book and started reading.

But he figured she could have just made a lie about why her parents couldn't come just as easily. But she didn't, she told him the truth, which made him feel special.
