The Codes have arrived!

Just booked a Contemporary standard view room for regular season (Nov.1) at $179 (without tax). I figure that's 30% off. A nice discount, but I'm still holding out for Florida resident codes, which should be better (fingers crossed).

Just got off call, was orginially spliting AKL and AS 12/16-12/23. Was able to switch to all AKL, for just about the same price. Savahna view for $180 per w/ tax.

Now we don't have to switch and I know the kids will love watching the animals the entire time. What a great Day!!

I called to get Riverside for 4 nights - Oct 18th-22nd - and got $109 + per night. Do you think that is the correct rate or should I call back? The CM seemed to be having a hard time...

I have more October rates!

We got WL Courtyard view for $159 for Oct 9-12 and AKL Savannah for $179 for Oct 12-14. Gotta go update my counter for the new dates!

Did you ask for a waterview room? $109 sound right since the standard view room is $99.

Kaitysmom, that's the right amount. The code discounted rate at Riverside in Regular Season is $99 plus 11% tax.

Waited 30mins to get through, but finally did. The CM I spoke with was able to keep my original ressie (POR, water view with King bed -- Magnolia Bend) and simply apply the new code rates.

Saved $66.50 per night for a total savings of $730! The final rate was $120 after tax, so it was about $15 more than the std room. Definitely worth every penny in my book.

Ok, finally got through . . . .I'm disillusioned . . .CM quoted me 30% off rack for Contemporary Tower dates November 30 - December 7th.

$254.14/night . . .thought it was supposed to be 40%?

I got waterview view at CBR for $99.00 + tax. for Nov.3-8. We need two rooms so the total comes to $1099.50. I think thats a good rate, do you experts agree. Is this time frame considered value season for moderates.

As you can see from my earlier post, I got 30% off at the Contemporary, too. I e-mailed Mary Waring at Mousesavers, and she thinks that the overflow from SOG might be keeping the supply of rooms down at the CR (and demand high), and therefore, discounts are not as good.
