Pix, you are going to have a lot of fun!

I wish we hadn't been so tired on the day we went. It sounds like there was so much more to do, but we missed it by staying only 1.5 hours.

Aww...but weren't you at the parks for a few days? One day can be so fun but by the end of the day everyone is exhausted and wiped out.

I can't wait! My sisters and I went last year and we had a blast. We loved the DJ in the Hollywood Backlot area. He was the best one and we had fun going on the rides. My bf hasn't been to MHT so this will be his first time.

Oh, lord, I havent' even begun to think about it! How bad is that???

DS4, of course, has a ton of costumes. He actually said he wanted to be Yu-Gi-Oh for Halloween, but he was wearing that costume the other day, and there were several rips in it.

It was bought for dress-up, not Halloween, but I think he's going to be disappointed at Halloween when he can't wear it. So... I bought a few costumes on clearance this summer; one is Stitch, and one is Dash. I actually got Dash costumes for each of the boys.

I've been holding the Stitch one over DS4's head, saying he could have it when he successfully used the potty all day (which he has yet to do), so I'm not sure if one of those might do or not.

As for Ds8, he's much more picky. I guess I should get him starting to think about it...

Good Morning Hyenas,

I'm drinking the canned Starbucks double shot espresson & cream. This stuff has jolted me awake.

I'm excited about MHT! I'm taking Friday off and next Monday. My bf and my older sister are taking Friday off as well.

Hopefully I'll see Dizzy and I will trap her on the swinging gondolas! J/k

Good morning, hyenas!
Wow, sunny and warm today!

Kids are off to school, and I have contractors here installing a new heat pump. (I think that's what it is.) Our old furnace needs to be replaced, and the heat pump will not only be more efficient, it will also allow us to cool the house in the summer when the weather gets too hot for us (which thankfully doesn't happen all that often, but it will be nice when it does.)

The contractor said he hoped to have the work all done today, but sounded like it might spill over a 2nd day, so we'll see. I don't know why, but it always makes me feel a little weird having a strange man around all day, like it's WRONG somehow! I always try to hide away from wherever they are.

Fortunately the work they're doing is in the garage, though I think they're also replacing the thermostat panel, which will mean he needs to come inside for that part.
