I only fished for a couple of hours. It was very windy at the lake and I was afraid I was going to hook myself or something. So we didn't stay very long, didn't want to risk piercing my nose! I did have fun, but it was kind of frustrating, although I guess it still was good practice. But it was really hard to make the fly line do anything I wanted it to...the wind would just whip it all over the place.

So how was your day? Gaggles of fun??

Awww... I sure am glad you didnt piece anything though. I did nothing interesting today. Looked at Halloween costumes. Got our liscence plates.. Stared at a cute guys butt. Same Old... Same old..

Awww... I sure am glad you didnt piece anything though. I did nothing interesting today. Looked at Halloween costumes. Got our liscence plates.. Stared at a cute guys butt. Same Old... Same old..

I came home from fishing, took a nice warm bath, ate lunch, did some housework, walked over and visited my brother & family, came home and did laundry and finished housework.

Then I gathered up all the leftovers in the fridge, heated everything up and called it dinner.

When I went over to my brother's, DS was already over there playing, along with my 2 nephews and one of their little friends. When I arrived they were chopping down a tree, but apparently have learned their lesson about chopping down huge trees. So with my brother's permission they were cutting down a medium tree. But they had a long rope and were going to use the tractor to pull the tree down after they chopped it halfway down. I politely suggested that they should wait until my brother got back from the store before they start up the tractor. DS looks at me and say's it's ok D (my 9yo nephew) is going to drive it and I am going to direct him. Yeah, like that makes it ok for a 9 & 10 year old to drive a tractor and pull a 20' tree over with no adult supervision.

They also had a large plastic barrel that they were taking turns rolling each other down the hill and over a jump. Then they tried to use a big roll of chicken wire fencing to get in the middle and roll down the hill (I put a stop to that one...little fingers could get cut off).

Sometimes I hate to even walk out in the field and see what they are doing now!

Pretty quiet day today. Went to the ILs for brunch and visited with FIL. When we got back we put DS4 down for nap and DH took off the weekly grocery store run. DS8 played some wii game while I watched (at times between my eyelids, shhhh!) Then we made dinner, cleaned up, and I just finished making some popcorn.

The boys are watching a Scooby Doo puppy DVD we rented from Black Bustard... Yawn...

Sounds like everyone had a pretty tame Sunday. It got really hot here this afternoon. I never did look at the thermometer, but the news said Portland was 85 and Vancouver was 88. It was windy downtown at the lake, but absolutely no wind up here on the hill. I was sweating earlier. I'm still sitting here in shorts with all the windows open and it's very warm. We are supposed to have hot weather here all week.

Sounds like everyone had a pretty tame Sunday. It got really hot here this afternoon. I never did look at the thermometer, but the news said Portland was 85 and Vancouver was 88. It was windy downtown at the lake, but absolutely no wind up here on the hill. I was sweating earlier. I'm still sitting here in shorts with all the windows open and it's very warm. We are supposed to have hot weather here all week.

Wow! That is warm! I think we were in the high 60s... maybe 70s. Not sure. But tomorrow we are supposed to get up to 83 or so.

Wow, amazing that there's such an extreme difference in temperatures between us. I think we were in the upper 60s today, supposed to be in the low 70s tomorrow and hit 80 on Tuesday.

WOW! Is Disney running out of ideas or just not wanting to pay for imaginative employees? I just seen an ad for their newest movie, Beverly Hills Chihuahua. It looks really, really bad.

My kids are begging to see it. BEGGING. FOr some reason, the idea of talking Taco Bell dogs is just to much for them.
