yep, It's an outpatient procedure with no anesthesia.
They numb it all up, "arrange" the parts on the surgical drape /field (that part hubby was unhappy about, female nurse and all).Incision (more like a poked hole) on each side, they cut and cauterize .. done.

No sitiches, just a bandage... and ice. I think he wore an athletic supporter right afterwards. Hubby doesn't remember.

Yeesh... Glad its not me.

My BIL had his done on his 21st birthday. I wonder if he regrets his decision-- too young to make that life changing decision.

My sis asked me if I would have married if I knew he had a vasectomy. (hubby had contemplated not having kids, because of his cruddy childhood-- I happened to "catch" him at a young age before he had a chance.)

I seriously don't know if I would or not. I mean it's one thing to not have kids because of an infertility problem, but not to have children because of a decision made at a young age? when you even don't know much about life..

Oooohh.... Thats a tough one. I think if that was Frelan... We would have been fine with it, because I already had Alex. But if I hadnt had Alex, and met someone who had done that.. I dont know. Maybe at a young age it wouldnt have bothered me, but as I got older it might have started to bother me.

I havent always been set on having a bunch of kids, I used to not want any.. But.. things change.

My MIL is miserable in her new life, she moved to a college town (from being in the country), doesn't have a stable job (they can cut her hours at anytime) and in an apartment (lost her place to foreclosure, she hates having neighbors).

I feel bad for her, but I also feel she will be fine once she gets over feeling sorry for herself- find some friends and embrace her new life.

Mmmhhmmm... We went through that with my mom. She was wallowing in things.. Get a hobby! Join a club!! Do something that doesnt involve sitting n your butt in front of a slot machine.

She just moved this weekend t Portland. At least Im guessing. She hasnt called me t let me know what was going on AT ALL.

Yep. We eat all wonky on the weekends too. We just ate dinner.. Pasta from pizza hut. But its good!

Don't you hate it when family doesn't call you? We expected a call from MIL and BIL to ask for help-- we offered.. no call, no clue what was going on until we finally called MIL to see what was up. I don't even have her address.

Getting info out of DN was like pulling teeth too. I had to ask him specifically when are you going? what is your new address? what do you want us to send you?

I aksed my mom, she never replied in email-- oh well.. got it on my own instead.

I make a big point of letting family know-- this is the day we are moving, this is the day we arrive.. this is our new address and phone.. You never know if some family crisis will happen.. how can we get a hold of anyone if we don't know where you are?? DUH!

Its Extra creepy because he has NO friends... Just him and his mom. They do things like a married couple. Shopping.. hanging out together. Its just icky.

Yes... my mom seems to think it is MY sole job to handle all the planning for everything, family wise. Because I dont work. I handle all the phone calls, if we are doing vacationy things together, I plan everything.. normally, i dnt mind so much. But I have been a TAD overwhelmed with my own life right now. I cant handle keeping track of my own stuff, much less be the one that calls her all the time to monitor what SHE is doing. You know? But she just cant seem to figure out that I might be having a tough time right now.

It is SO good! I like the Alfredo one.. YUM! Our store doesnt have the mac'n'cheese one yet. All that advertising and they DONT HAVE IT! butt monkeys.

Its very creepy. I dont know what will happen to her if something ever happens to him. She isnt living with us, thats for sure.

hmm, CJBanks has an online store. How could I have missed that?

The problem would be that I would have to try it on instore before buying, they tend to run too large. I also have issues with their Tshirts being see through thin but they still charge more than a cheapie (non see thru) T at say Target or Walmart.

I find nice gems in their clearance.. like $2 capris.

I never pay full price in that store, it WILL be on the sale rack soon.

I broke.. I called my mom. You know, just to make sure she wasnt dead on the road somewhere between Reno and Portland. She keeps getting lost, and said she was lost for HOURS at a time. Right. She is a bit of a drama queen. ANYHOO. Starts her new job tomorrow... She keeps talking about the secure building like it is a HUGE deal. I dont understand who she is expecting to come after her? Probably crazy pregnant me.


Anyhow.. once she is settled I guess we will see her soon. No idea when. She is going on a cruise sometime next month..
