Posting on other DISboards forums to purposely rile up members and stir up heated reactions is not a good idea. This fits the definition of "trolling".

Anyone doing this will probably find themselves with infraction points that can lead to the loss of their posting privileges here, and can also lead to this thread being locked and not allowed to be restarted.

OMG. LAME. It was bad. I guess they werent expecting that many people to show.... so it was just a big old mad house. Hubby said he is never going to another school event again.

No big deal.. I had a feeling it would suck. They are used to very little parental involvement, and since we have started going there... there has been a ton. I think they are overwhelmed.

That sucks!

I felt that way for registration days/nights last year, it was a mad house and no signage to point where to go and the staff didn't seem friendly at all.

The middle school here was not quite as welcoming when we first entered the building.. I think they should have some kind of speech and introduction of the staff assembly before we went to the classsroom schedule (we followed N's schedule and had 7 minute classes where each teacher explained their rules, syllabus and anwsered questions. )

The high school was great!
Band, choir played and the princiapl introduced each othe subject teams. You can tell they all love working there.

I know I cave to peer pressure.

As soon as I find a clock then I will. I either need to make one or find a toy pocket watch. Any ideas where I can get one. I cant order it over the internet at this point. 2 weeks it might not get here. (sorry Alex)

Hubby says Walmapart has pocket watches.. about $20.

He also suggested our fave thrift store, bunch of them for about $5 I was like umm dear.. it's not like she can swing by MN and pick it up

We did dinner... and got yelled at by the lunch lady. THAT was funny. They did a speech thing... but SOME PEOPLE wouldnt SHUT UP so we could freaking hear. Then we did the class. Have I mentioned that his teacher is like 12?
