Besides, it takes me longer to eat when it's frozen.

I had to make 48 cupcakes last week for DS8's class. Well, actually I had to make a minimum of 25, and since one box makes 24...

So I stuck a bunch of them in the freezer. For later...

That's cool. I just never heard of sticking cupcakes in the freezer.

I can NOT believe I have to explain this to a hungry woman pregnant with twins.

What can I say... I dont have the patience to do something that takes that much time... I would have bought them at the store.

I had an odd craving for Costco's muffins today but then I realized that my bf and I cannot finish anything from Costco.

Honestly, I don't know why I never thought of it before. I used to buy that big flat of Costco muffins, and put a bunch in the freezer,then just pull one out at a time to eat.

When I was making that pirate ship cake for DS' 7th birthday, I was asking one of my GF all kinds of questions about how to make/cut/assemble the cake, so she showed me how to cut, tips on how to frost, etc. Whenever I made round cakes they always come out with a big dome. Hers were perfect! She says hers come out with a big dome, too, she just slices off the dome and freezes the extra cake. Then when she has nothing else for dessert, she'll take out the cake pieces and drop them into a bowl of ice cream. YUM!!!

Apparently. Its been a bit of an ongoing thing for a few weeks now. I swear, these hormones are wacky. I am either buck wild, screaming at everyone.. bawling my eyes out.. or ambushing my poor husband when he walks in the door. its BIZARRE!

Just a quick hello and goodnight.

I'm jealous that most of yu are having warm temps, it's been cold here 50's at night warming to mid 60's .. 70 if we are lucky.. during the day.

Ho HUM it's fall in MN. Fall is coming early, sis said that summer came late this year - winter/spring hung on for the longest time, just got warm as we arrived mid June. Leaves are already starting to change color, typically we don't see the change until October. Northern areas had frost warning already-- very unusual!
Looks like winter is going to be a beastly cold witch this year.

Why did we move back here agin? Oh that's right family, better education, excellent healthcare, friendly people ...

I will gladly trade weather with you! I checked the forecast and it's going to be in the 90's tomorrow and 100 on Tuesday! I cannot stand the heat and I wish it was cold already.

Hi guys. I'm back from Tucson. After my mom called. I left for Tucson to be with my brother.

I realized I put his old roommate. Well, yes it was his old roommate but it was also one of his best friends. This has been very devastating. I've honestly not seen my brother cry except before my dads funeral but he has been crying all weekend. Luckily many of his teammates have been at jump school nearby so they came to stay with him.

.

Anyway, my brother will be a pallbearer at the funeral in Arlington National Cemetry next Monday. I'm really torn between going or not. My whole family is going but so far I'm not. Its so expensive and Jeff cant get off any more time to take the kids. I feel I HAVE to go though. I want to go. I know his wife and his little baby.

I'm waiting to see if there is a memorial service in San Diego in mid Oct and I'll go to that instead. my brother says I need to honor him by drinking a beer to him in EPCOT and celebrating his life by enjoying my freedom to go on vacation. I know he's right.

Anyway, I'm alive.
