GEESH, that always creeps me out at night... A couple times we've heard a chopper and then a light flashes over the house. One time it kept coming over our house, and the chopper just sort of hung over us, I was seriously freaked out!

That happened to us in CA, I was a tad freaked .. hubby wans't home.
Found out later there was a bad accident, the car had rolled down off the highway. They were trying to help the rescuers by spotlighting the area.

Here I thought they were looking for someone on foot. They had a bunch of drug busts in that city, empty houses big electric bill-- pot farm in the basement-- yay!

Usually, it is the military doing stuff.. But sometimes, its the fuzz. Thats always fun, because you know they are looking for someone. In your neighborhood!!! I cant figure this one out.. It is hovering in the area.. Odd for military. Generally they head on out to Roy, or some other country type place... But, no lights like it is the fuzz.. I dunno.

Hi all, Ok my mom fractured her foot and tore a ligament (sp?) she has to stay off of her feet for a few days and then she should be good to go in her walking boot. My brothers girlfriend lives up here now so she can come over and help in the evenings if needed.

I spent the day yesterday with her and probably some of today. I feel bad leaving but she is a pro at this type stuff with all the arthritis surgery she has had. She said a little fracture shouldnt make me worried thats why she didnt want anyone to call me. I'm just the family protector I guess.

So I'm not even close to getting ready but this is how I do most of my trips. Wait til the last minute. I'll probably do most of my to do list today and pack tomorrow. I have to work at the school both days but for not too long.

I'm glad to hear that your mom is okay and other family members will pitch in to help.


Just thought I would share... my cat is pshychotic today. She has dived at my feet four times in the last 5 minutes, scurrying around the kitchen sliding on the tile. Stops to groom, suddenly jumps in the air and takes off running--launching herself to the top of the couch-- freaking me out as she comes whizzing by my head and I turn to ask "what is your deal?" She looks at me, with her kitty glare "what ? I'm not doing anything"

She does her grumble meeeerw and leaps off the back of the couch.

Off to tear round and round the apartment again.

Told hubby, cat is nuts.. but I think she is calming down.
He replies "No, she's stalking your feet from behind the couch"











Do you think she drank some of my coffee this morning?

One more shift to go.....then we head out Granted I have to leave for work in 30 minutes, write a schedule, do an order....but the day should fly by!!!!

Dh has to do numbers (month end) in the morning, then we are heading out, dropping the dog off, hitting a SoCal Costco and we should hopefully be ready to go for EE on Thursday morning!!!

I'm so not awake yet..... I had a stomach ache last night and couldn't sleep. I took some medicine which helped.

Shawna- I'm sorry to hear about your mom but I'm glad that she has you and other family members to help her. I can't believe you are leaving for WDW! The time has flown by so quickly!

Dizzy- I hope u have fun at the park. : Maybe I will see you on Friday at MHT. Then I will trap you in the swinging gondolas! Just kiddng... I can always have you talk to your buddie Crush again. JK!

Good morning, hyenas!
It was sunny this morning, but then came the clouds; it's supposed to be very warm today, and the sun is just now breaking through the clouds, WOOHOO!!!

Took the boys to school as usual; I dressed DS4 in denim shorts and a bright blue Hawaiian print shirt with turtles all over it. I slicked his hair down with water and parted it on one side, but of course by the time we got to school it looked as rumpled as usual. The boys weren't that dressed up for the most part, but the girls were in such beautiful little dresses!

DS8 has school picture day in a few more days, so I'm scrambling to find something nice-looking and make sure it's washed. I guess I could use the same outfit he wore for his professional pictures for his 8th birthday; that was a deep purple polo shirt (he was skeptical, but it looked really nice on him!) and yes, navy corduroys... because I hadn't done laundry.

What can I say, he has two geeky parents, so he may as well get used to it and dress the part. It's in the genes!

Morning gals.. I checked our 401K this morning... and as of the close of business yesterday... We made $200. not what I was expecting.. but hey.. at least we didnt lose it, right?

Anyhoo.. My husband just winked at me, and put Care Bears in.. I think this means I have some Dr. Pepper and cheesecake waiting for me.

Hello, just a quick post. It's a slow day today at work. There is a typhoon overseas so my customers have been off. My customer in Mexico has been quiet which is out of the ordinary. Watch and when I'm on vacation they will send a crapload of urgent things. :lol:

I took a nap during my lunch break which really helped. My bf woke up early, got dressed and was going to run errands. He must have been too tired because he went to one store and then came home and fell asleep.

It's 100 degrees outside and it sucks! I wish it would be cold!

beautiful, Just got back from picking up DD from school...the fundraising snatcher caught me off guard....i walk in to pick up some long sleeve shirts I had ordered for DD and the fundraising snatcher came running.........
