Is Alzheimer's disease genetic? Leeza has such a beautiful brain & spirit, it would be a shame to lose her to that in the future, as we've been losing so many people to this horrible disease.

I think there is a possible genetic link.
It also seems there are things that can mitigate it. She is quite active, so it is possible she won't get it.

Note how Leeza did NOT like Geraldo's idea, but allowed him to keep coming up with something until they found something usable. And it was a hook the client loved.

I'm guessing the show must be losing steam altogether. I thought the 2 episodes a night was just a premiere thing, but they kept doing it that way, so maybe they decided to get it over and done with?
