The Celebrity Apprentice 2

Kar, I agree with you. What a spoiled brat! I'm so happy to see Melissa go. She was behaving worse then a toddler have a temper tantrum.

Melissa is a spoiled brat and so is Joan. I may not be a big fan or Annie or Brandi but they both played it smart in the board room.

I'm rooting for Jesse and hope he pulls it off. He didn't make himself look good in this episode so he will have to step up next week.

Personally I hope Joan does stay home because it shows he true colors. Melissa was so rude to everyone after the board meeting and that too showed her true colors. They both need to grow up.

Well I'm glad Melissa is gone--I was so tired of all the whining.

Joan will be back next week--I picked up on it when Brandi was saying "Oh we went to the task meeting and she wasn't there" which left it wide open for Joan to come in after the task was assigned.

I don't think they should let Joan back in.--I know it was all taped awhile ago so the viewers opinions don't count---But if she quit then she quit--I wouldn't let her come groveling back especially after the way she felt it was ok to attack the other players.

I agree. But, she kind of knew Annie & Brandi would gang up on her. That was no surprise. I wonder if what set her off was how Trump passed that note to Kramer. That was kind of high schoolish, too. Kramer was all over Brandi up to that point. Then suddenly, he's ganging up on Melissa, too, with Trump as the clique leader.

I wonder if Trump wrote, "I'm sleeping with Brandi," on the note. :scratchin

:rotfl2:

Well at least in his DREAMS he is!

She is OBVIOUSLY his TYPE!!

It's seems Donald really likes Joan. I would have gotten rid of her earlier.
Her and Melissa were acting like they were so high and mighty above everyone else. It was sickening.

She looks terrible with all that plastic surgery.

I can't stand Annie. I think she is a narcissistic, manipulative, nasty person. I like Joan and I can understand why Melissa was angry. I think creative editing made her look worse.

Does anyone else think that performance last night from Melissa and Joan was just an act for ratings? Since when do they show them in the board room making comments like Ivanka did about Melissa going nuts... I think it's all about ratings & probably alittle staged.

:wave2: HIYA MUFFYJO!!! Temper tantrums are not ACCEPTED in the Trump Tower!

No, I am GLAD they kept the camera going as it made the RIVERS look horrible BOTH Joan as well as Melissa having her childish tantrum!!! :headache: "Get me my ******* coat and get me my ******* purse and I am not giving you a ******* exit interview". O..M..G.. GROW UP or SHUT UP!

I hope Donald does NOT allow Joan back because she QUIT! Quitters should NOT get a second chance. AND how much $$$$ has she actually brought in anyway???

I think they showed them in the boardroom making comments because you could hear the comments Melissa was making from the entire building. Boy, what a spoiled person and a huge potty mouth she has. I am glad to see her go. All her whining was getting on my nerves. At one point when Brandi was on the phone with Annie, it was on speaker phone, and still Melissa said, you are whispering about me..whine whine whine. I"m so good, and still they won't let me do everything. Whine whine whine.
I used to really like Joan and Melissa, but not now..not since the begining of the show. They are two very nasty people.

I have read Clints interview about the show, and he was shocked at how he was portayed. It sounded like they did a lot of clipping and only allowed us to see part of what happened, to make him look bad. Sort of how the Bible encourages drink when it says He led them to the still.

I think Jessie is one moody person. If it doesn't go his way, he won't play. Clint was the project manager. He could have easily gone home if they lost, so the final say should have been his. Once that was decided, Jessie should have helped. But since they weren't using his idea, just like in the past, he's not even going to respond to questions, and he won't look up.

I think this whole crowd is the worst of the worst they have ever had on Apprentice. They all want it to be only about them.

I'm new to this thread but not new to the show!

I am just so thrilled that Melissa is gone. She's a horrible person and obviously doesn't play well with others. And I hope her mother is gone, too. I don't want either of them back. I don't get how one player (Joan) is allowed to even comment on another team (Melissa's). Just because she's mom, doesn't mean squat. Wait, it shouldn't mean squat in the game. Good riddance.

I'd like to see Annie and Brande make a huge bucket of cash for their charities. They know how to play the game and have been doing well.

I liked how Jesse played the game. If their team wasn't picked for their layout, Clint would have been fired. But since they won, Jesse had to fess up and say kiss-up things about how it was just a smidge better, no hard feelings, etc.

Melissa went out with every ounce of class she possesses... namely, none.

However, she was screaming about "liars" and it appeared to be directed at the staff of the show, not the fellow contestants. I'm wondering if she and Joan thought they had a "guaranteed" number of weeks on the show and she actually was surprised she got booted, because she considered it a breach of their agreement with her.

And Lifelock is a total fraud and scam, the owner guy is fighting dozens of identity fraud incidents after making his social security # public, and they're pretty corrupt (not to mention they don't actually do anything you can't do yourself with a couple of emails and a phone call). If Joan and Melissa want to link themselves with that outfit -- :rotfl:

I'm sure Joan will be back. They are setting up this whole thing to be a Joan vs Annie showdown for the finale.

Hmmm...I don't think the show can quarantee anyone that.....

As far as Lifelock goes, this was on their website:

My name is Todd Davis
My social security number is 457-55-5462

I'm Todd Davis, CEO of LifeLock, and yes, that's my real social security number. Identity theft is one of the fastest growing crimes in America, victimizing over 10 million people a year and costing billions of dollars. So why publish my social security number? Because I'm absolutely confident LifeLock is protecting my good name and personal information, just like it will yours. And that is why we back our service with our $1 Million Service Guarantee."

Oh my!!! :scared:

I was laughing my butt off last night watching Melissa trying to storm out the room on her broken foot! She didnt look too graceful trying to hobble out of the boardroom in such a huff. She acted like a 2 year old having a temper tantrum.

I like Annie. I am big poker fan and I admire the way she can read and manipulate people. I wouldnt want to be her friend (or her enemy) but I can appreciate her toughness.

Whoo Hoo! Cry-baby Melissa is gone. I made the mistake of going right to the CA front page to view the episode so I knew she was going home as I was watching it. I think the more interesting watching was in the Bonus Scenes:
http://www.nbc.com/the-celebrity-apprentice/video/ On one of them Melissa does a really poor job of staying who should be fired and essentially says that Annie is the best player in the game.

Maybe it was just the editing but I think that Melissa sand bagged (is that the correct term?) the last assignment. She intentionally stayed back so she could cry "Woe is me! Those two mean girls are ganging up on me!" and it backfired on her. The interesting thing is that Jessee was playing the same game and he's lucky that his team won.

I'm sure Joan will be back. They are setting up this whole thing to be a Joan vs Annie showdown for the finale.

I agree.

Donald thrives off scummy personalities and he is the KING of them! He quickly got rid of the laid back "nice" ones (all except good ol' Jesse) so he could keep the drama alive... and you know what, it's working!

Name one book, tv show or movie that can survive without a villain? And BOY does this show have a slew of them!! :lmao:

Melissa was deliberately let go so Joan could freak... and she did. Annie is this year's Piers. She's ruthless and cunning, and doesn't have a moral fiber in her body. She'll do WONDERFULLY in NY! :thumbsup2

I'm not so sure that Joan will be back. My mom watched Regis this morning. He had Trump on the phone and she said that Trump made a comment about Joan not coming back. But then she didn't hear the whole conversation due to a weather alert.

You are right about Annie....that is just the kind of person he wants for the job...just like Piers.

I faithfully watched the show until one season (the season with the bedazzler - remember that) one group order some material they needed for a task and the other group posed as the group that ordered it, picked up the material and used it and the group that ordered it was left with nothing. Trump just laughed it up as no big deal then I got really mad and quit watching for a while till I realized that is part of corporate business. Trump wants aggressive, confident, willing to do what it takes people and that is what Piers and Annie are.

I really think Annie is going to win. She is smart and gets the job done - no matter how - and plays all others against each other in the process. I don't personally like it but it makes for a good show. Especially when Joan and Melissa are crying about it.

I laughed my butt off when I see how much it got to Joan that Annie's knows everyone and they all support her and Joan's people obviously didn't show up when it counted. That's a blow to the ego for Joan!!!!

A little FYI on "Joan's people." :teacher: Joan's friends are what's called "old money" in the multi-BILLIONaire realm, and are all old like her. (What is she, 71?) Her friends include people like the Rockefellers, the Gettys, the Whitneys & Vanderbilts, the Astors, (deceased) Estee Lauder, and Ron Perlman, head of Revlon, and George Soros.

These people don't just throw around their money, especially to a TV show, even the Donald's, who they are friends with.

Melissa was right when she slammed Trump that episode, saying he was being unfair, where he was insinuating Joan didn't know rich people who have money to give to charities. Since he knows the exact same people, and what they give money to and for.

You notice none (or hardly) any of these same people named above gave money to any of his charities over the years of his show. When they raise monies for charities, it's to create charitable foundations in their own name) not Trump's. You don't just call these people up asking for funds to Trump's TV show for someone else's charity. Nor, do you trot out their name for your own personal gain. Notice all three of them were tight-lipped about who they are friends with.

The Astor family has donated money to create Astor Court in the Metropolitan Museum of Art. In fact, most of the families I named: Whitneys & Vanderbilts, Estee Lauder's family, have generously donated millions upon millions to fund the NYC museums, as well as have their own personal collections on display. I *think* the American Wing is funded by the Whitneys, and the Vanderbilts fund one of the European Halls. (It could be the other way around.) The Whitneys also have their own museum in NYC. The Gettys have their own museum in L.A. They have more charities than imaginable. American museums aren't government funded the way European museums are. If it wasn't for "Joan's friends," we wouldn't have the quality of museums and arts programs we have today.

Estee Lauder's daughter in law, created her own breast cancer foundation after finding she had breast cancer. Revlon heads their own Breast Cancer Run/Walks each year.

The Rockefellers donated the island of St, John in the Virgin Islands as a wildlife sanctuary. Who has enough money to donate an island?!? :faint:

Many of the "ladies who lunch" who are wives of these multi-BILLIONaires head up various charitable organizations, as a "hobby" for their free time, when they are not shopping or lunching with each other.

Annie's friends are all "new money" making it themselves, and off of the greed & misfortune of other gamblers. That's what Joan meant when she said that their money had blood on it. Meanwhile Joan's friends funnel quite a bit of their money back into the US economy & abroad.

Please don't send her to NY, unless she's willing to teach me how to win at poker. :cool2:

EXACTLY!!

Wow, it takes a LOT to get money from "gamblers", doesn't it? :rotfl2:
