The castle (be our guest)

We walked by the entrance of BOG and there is a castle that looks too far away for it to be the restaurant. I really wanted to walk over there but there was a cast member checking for reservations. If it's not the restaurant what is it and how do I get there? It looked so pretty, now I know why people want to eat there so bad. Can you get closer without a reservation?

There's no way to "get closer." There's nothing in it, it just sits on top of the restaurant as decoration. They use forced perspective to make it feel bigger than it is...

Now that is super-trippy!! Brings a whole new (eh-hem) perspective to "forced perspective." As a kid, I always loved those magazines in the doctor's office that had the optical illusion drawings. Fast forward 40+ years, and I'm still fascinated by fooling the eye/mind. Thanks for sharing!
