Yep -- I agree. I hope they drown in their eggnog.

ETA -- well, not really, but I'm feeling snarky today.

I've seen Halloween stuff up in the stores already! And, now that I think of it, less than a month until I am going to be at the first MNSSHP of the year!

But here I was, ready for a discussion about the see-you-next-tuesday word.

Ha ha!!! I have already bought a few Christmas presents!!!!

I need to start shopping soon, i have a niece now this will be her first Christmas. :goodvibes :santa:

BTW lovesmurfs, i love egg nog and fruitcake. :teeth:

Where's Angel with her countdown to the Vow of Jolly?:santa:

Our oldest is almost bought for. Starting on our youngest's items.

It has crossed my mind, but I cannot kick off the season or the spirit until Black Friday...ok so maybe on Thanksgiving night.

i think I'm going to write my two older kids checks and give them a few small gifties to open. They're both pretty poor right now--DD is in college and DS is out of work. Dead presidents are one-size-fits-all

Christian is the one i like shopping for. Well, not exactly *him*. Christian is very mentally handicapped and one day is just like another. As long as there's food, he's in. He doesn't play with toys, just a couple little baby things and he resists new toys. So we pretty much buy him some jammies, an outfit or two and some pudding cups or peanut butter crackers. But, instead of buying *him* a lot of stuff, which he could care less about(seriously, just give him a box of tissue paper and he's happy!) we pick a child from the Giving Tree and buy them some things. We buy a few books for his classroom, too.

Normally, the summer is way too early for me to even think about the Christmas season. But this year it's all we've been talking about b/c it's our first trip to WDW during the holidays :woohoo: Can't wait

Was surprised to see Halloween stuff in Cracker Barrel yesterday. More surprised to see Thanksgiving stuff. Could not believe it when I walked into the Christmas section! Crazy!:crazy2:
