Alright...for those who have tried it at the Hollywood Brown Derby in HS, how is it?

They just changed it this past week. It used to be a wagyu burger and was one of my favorites. Had the new one on Sunday and I thought it was good but not great. I may be mistaken but I feel like the fries used to be thick cut... these were skinny and also good but not great.

Agree 100%. It used to be the best burger on property. We also had it Sunday and were disappointed. It was still good but we missed the unique flavor of wagyu and the pastrami. The new skinny cut fries are definitely inferior to the old steak fries. I had a burger at Raglan Road the night before that was superior.

Here it was over Christmas break...with extra cognac aioli and those perfectly seasoned fries...our server told us other people have complained about the new fries, but they haven’t changed them...I could go for those right now!D9E5C217-8F56-4000-A839-EBB697426879.jpeg

My husband just had this last week for lunch. He said is was delicous and he enjoyed it a lot but he said if you like to eat your burger in your hand, eat fast, because it is so juicy that the bottom bun gets soggy and falls apart pretty quickly. He thought the fries were just ok.
He was spoiled by the truffle fries at The Enchanted Rose lounge.

This may be blasphemy, but I don't like sunny side up eggs....will they cook the yolk if requested?

I had the version with pastrami in March and it was fantastic.

I imagine it's still a very good burger and a good value choice at the Brown Derby, but I haven't had the new one.

Mine did fall apart halfway through and I switched to a fork and knife.

For the love of burgers!!! What is going on with Disney?? They had the best two burgers I used to HAVE to get when on vacation. First being at Geyser Point what a disappointment. Today I just went to Derby and was sadly disappointed again. What chef or American thinks Thousand Island Dressing is a good substitute for Cognac Mustard!!o_O Or sweet bacon bits for Pastrami? I’m not even going to talk about the beef. Truly a sad disappointment.

I only see a lounge menu...did they close the walk up?

The Brown Derby burger switch up is a tragedy! We were planning on trying the bison burger at Geyser Point for the first time this week - is it no longer worth the trip to Wilderness Lodge?

Geyser point can only be walk up service. Same menu just different taste of ingredients for the burger.

By walk-up, I meant the CS window. The lounge and CS had separate menus. I no longer see the lunch/dinner menu for CS, just a lounge menu

Sorry I didn’t understand the question. I was there in June and it wasn’t open at the window yet.

I have no idea why they would change the Brown Derby burger. My understanding is that a lot of people ordered it. Even if you have to raise the price $5 it would still be a good item.
