The boundless pettiness of the office...again

So the copy guy brought chick-fil-a chicken biscuit freebies for the office this morning. He put them in the kitchen. Then the secretaries secreted them away to one of their little cubicles to be distributed to the appropriate personnel and to ensure that the chicken biscuits did not end up in the wrong hands. God forbid the wrong person got a chicken biscuit.

I take it by your displeasure you aren't in the "cool" chicken coup with the rest of the hens?

What is with the Chicken Biscuit?

So who are the appropriate people who should get these chicken buisuits?

I'm not. Not that I want a chicken biscuit. Just people really baffle me sometimes.

Sorry about the misspelling, Briarmom.

:rotfl: You are right, I did misspell it. I'll go edit.

I still want to know what is up with it. The biscuit.

Or God forbid someone get more than one chicken buscuit. Maybe you should give better Secretaries Day presents and they will let you in on the chicken buscuit consumption.

Oh, I thought you were making fun of my misspelling. The DIS can be such a cruel place when it comes to typos. :guilty:

Anyway, a chicken biscuit is a buttery biscuit with a chick-fil-a chicken filet in it, sandwich form. It like a sausage biscuit in chicken form.

My DH and I made a whole platter, I mean huge platter, of smoked salmon for the elementary school teacher's at DD's school. I asked one of the teachers later if they'd enjoyed the salmon and I was informed that it was all packed up into a bag taken to a teacher's car!! He didn't share it with anyone! And he wasn't even one of DD's teachers! And yes, I did say something to him later - "tell me you didn't really tAke all of the smoked salmon that was meant for all the teachers" - he just shrugged and walked away. :confused3
Highline School district, Shorewood Elementary (AKA Mary K LeTourneau Elementary) at it's finest!!

All of the losers, er, I mean people, who didn't get them should walk up & down the aisles around those who did and say "nana nanana, we didn't want them anyway" in a whiny voice.

That'll teach'em.

Sounds to me like it's time to have Cinnebon deliver some freshly baked yummy smelling happiness to the "non chicken biscutted". Make sure they go in your cube and only dole them out to those who aren't chickened.

OMG that would be so petty and so FUN!! CAn you imagine, with the smelly goodness of cinnabons??

They need to learn "one for all, or non for all":goodvibes

Nah. I wouldn't do that.
I have heard you speak of these chicken biscuits before. Everyone seems to love them.

What a great person he is.

How dumb is that?

If you haven't had a chicken biscuit from chik-fil-et - you need to go tomorrow morning and pick one up. Seriously, I love them! My co-workers and I have a serious love of them! But, we share here (for the most part)... :)

Sounds like it's time for some payback, of a nicely passive-aggressive sort.

Make up individual platters for EACH of your DD's teachers next time. Deliver them before school starts.

The thieving teacher...ugh.

agnes!
