[ Im feeling really unprepared (and, honestly, unmotivated) for the Richmond Marathon. The emails Ive gotten from them state that I should be able to switch to the half at the expo, so I am seriously considering doing that.
Matt, however, is prepared for Baltimore next weekend and decided today to go ahead and register for the full in Richmond.
Colleen, good for you for getting the 17+ miles in there. I couldn't even imagine running that far right now. I think you did fantastic.17.3 miles this morning (and afternoon), it felt like I was out there ALL day. Time was 3:42, kind of disappointing considering I could have easily ran 18 in 3 hours a few years ago.![]()
Hey Cindy, sorry you're having a rough time right now. Please let us know if there's anything we can do to help out. Best of luck to Matt in Baltimore, and best of luck to you in your decision about switching to the half for Richmond.I've had some major LTO lately that has prevented me from running for over a week and a half. I did manage a measly 8 miles (with some walking) on Sunday and 4 today so I am getting back out there. Im feeling really unprepared (and, honestly, unmotivated) for the Richmond Marathon. Im running the Army Ten Miler this weekend. Glad its only 10 miles. I wont be surprised if it is a personal worst.
Howard - Is there green stuff still running out of your nose (the makings of heinous snot rockets), or did you get to run? All ready for Ridgefield?
Thanks Lou, glad you liked the blog, and, of course, I will gladly split all my profits with Chester 50:50. Nice job on the 11 miles, and I can certainly cheer on the Phillies. Unless they meet up with the BoSox in the World Series, then you're on your own.Dave - Enjoyed the blog! Does Chester get royalties for these photos?
Hey gang,
Chester - Loved the race report. Can't believe the weather. In a way I guess it could have been fun to run that course in the rain.
Chester- Thanks again for sharing your race report and photos with me for the blog. Bots rule!Anyone want to give me the inside scoop on the RFTT? Are you going to that one Chester? Howard?
Chester: Great RR. I'm glad you were able to finish and not have such a disappointing time as so many others had. Your DD is beautiful.
