Speaking of variety - I sent an e-mail to the contact I've made at Disney Endurance saying they should do a Star Wars themed race at Hollywood Studios around Star Wars Weekends. She said they were already considering it. Now, that's a race I'd sign up for in a heartbeat.

Seriously, the only appeal of doing EE again would be running it with Maggie my 11yo daughter. That'd be really fun.

Yeah, but I can't exactly fit another Disney trip in the vacation schedule (although we probably are going to go to Tokyo Disney Sea!)

Sara Congrats on the excellent RnR marathon time! I remember how rough it was running that race last year, you did awesome. What else did you end up doing in San Diego while you were there?

Bodi Let's see how you like it! You should make Bruce run Baltimore with us. We should also try to plan a get together for Saturday night after the race. I'm thinking that a "bang it with a mallet" all-you-can-eat blue crab feed would be fun.

Howard Awesome that your foot is feeling better. Baltimore is going to be a good Marine Corp tune-up. You should sign up!

As for me, I'm still running along. I'm tempted to sign up for NYC now that everyone else is in the lottery. Two marathons in 4 weeks isn't too crazy is it?

That sucks...I get on the boards for the first time all week and read Dave's the Star Wars race post and I was all ready to hit Jodi with a slave girl Princess Leia comment.

Sara - AWESOME job! I don't have a clue what all of those medical terms mean (and I am married to a nurse) but it sounds like you have to battle soem major pain when running a 5K, let alone a marathon. You trumped the Curt Schilling "bloody sock" performance. You definitely caught a break with the great weather. Must have been so nice to run through SD on a nice day without any pressure.

Howard - You didn't trump Curt Schilling's "bloody sock" or Sara's miracle marathon but glad to see you are getting back to form. Those are good times. We'll have to plan for a Kelly Dr run.

Cindy - When do you leave for Tokyo? If I read correctly this is a pleasure trip or is it business?

I would love to run Baltimore, but it'll have to be 2010. As they say, my dance card is full this fall.

Lou~ I'd love to run around Philly again soon. Let me get a bit stronger and work up my miles a bit. How many miles is 1 loop again? Maybe one of those would be a good short term goal. At a slow/steady pace.
