I'm just wondering what everyone thinks of the Blues Brothers show at USF.

I think it's an underrated show, with amazing perfomers. The guys that play Jazz are extremely talented on the sax & never cease to amaze me.

What about you? Like, dislike, never seen?

I don't know about you, but I've never been able to watch an entire show of this.

I've nevr "watched" a full show, but have heard it numerous times. :p

We saw the show last year and thought it was great! The whole setup with the police car driving in really sets it up well. I agree that the sax player was pretty great.....especially echoing off the walls of the alleyway. The female singer really hit the songs right too. My only complaint would be the small area to stand and actually see the show. It wasn't crowded to start with, but once the sax started going, people came from all over to see what was going on. Plan to see the show again next week too......maybe even more than once.

I agree with DM. This is one of the park's best-kept secrets.

The soul singer who starts the show is terrific. Better than the Elroy and Jake clones any day -- good though they may be.

I caught the show once and loved it! The female singer was awesome as was the sax. I liked how the Blues Brothers come out into the street to dance with crowd too.

Caught the end while coming out of Mummy one day and caught the Aretha Franklin bit another day. Good singing, just missed the Guy on Sax. Got a picture of them driving away after the show. Seemed good and the people were into it.

I've only been to US a few times so I haven't gotten to see all of the shows yet (I'm getting there though!) and this one is definitely on my list to see the entire thing. I've caught bits and pieces of it in the past and really enjoyed the music. I definitely want to see it all of it on my next visit. :)

Excellent show, indeed. I've seen the entire show a few times, and have to say the holiday version is even better (just like in the case of the GB Show, which is quite ironic). I've always enjoyed the music, and if I didn't have time to stop by to watch the show, I'd "shake my tail feather" as I walk by...lol seriously... :p :p :p It's also nice to be sitting in Finnegan's and getting to listen to the music and/or getting to watch the show. :)

Yes.....we ussuallly tie in a Finnegans wirth a Blue Bros.....nice drinkie, nice food and great gig!! Actually...having a nice drinkie now......lazy Sunday afternoon in the garden....sun's out and I have come inside for a cooler!:D

i never miss the blues brothers.
and, i never miss the ghostbusters.

both of them roxs...................::yes::

Haven't seen the whole show, but what we did see we loved. Especially like that area, the themeing, etc. The show really makes you want to "dance in the streets". It's really good and I would definately recommend to anyone. I would agree that the area does get crowded as the show goes on.

Only saw a little of the show as well, but it was great.
I will try and see the whole show in December.

Definitely a 10 on a 10 scale kinda show.
'Specially when done how Selina described!

A good crowd can spark a conga line too sometimes (not the clothes-optional kind tho)

One of my very favorite shows!! Love all of it, dancing in the street is the best part. The first time I saw this show was in 1995 and the crowd was so into it we did do a conga line, it was hysterical! Of course my daughter (at the time was 16) and my niece was 7 were mortified that my sister and I were singing and dancing to ALL the songs! WE LOVE IT! Can't wait to see it again, this time with grandchildren in tow (my sister's not mine, unfortunately I don't have any yet)!! Don't miss it. :teeth: :hyper: :teeth: :bounce: :teeth: :bounce:

We didn't take the time to stop and see it when we were there. We might or might not catch it this time, but we definately want to check out the graveyard review that we missed last time.

U need to see the revue show Prince Eric its great and the blues are excellent although my kids do get a little embarrassed by my dancing they leave when I start singing though:crazy:
