Well this is it! The last day to do all that we have to get done all that we need to get done before we head back to cold and rainy Chicago. EE at MK did not go quite as planned. We were at our bus stop at 7:30 hoping to get a ride or two in before our 8:50 CRT ressie. Well we waited and waited and saw every bus but the MK bus. Naturally there were a bunch of us waiting and we were all getting restless...still no MK bus.....finally at 8:10 1 MK bus comes and can only accomodate about half of the crowd waiting. I haven't got the energy to "fight" and just wait for the next bus. It comes rather quickly but it too is full, well we have no choice but to take it if we want to make our PS...we can't leave Cinderella waiting. We get to the park in record time and make it with 5 minutes to spare. We check in and ask for a window seat if possible. We sit down to wait and are called immediately. Up the stairs we go where we are excorted to our seats. Front and center window in the castle. I get goosebumps and am a touch teary eyed and the "Movie Star" is laughing. He realizes that this truly is a special moment and whips out teh camera to capure every last detail. Our server comes and addresses us as me lord and me lady. I warn her she might not want to address the movie star that way as these things do have a tendancy to go to his head and he will have me calling him that from this point forward. Well she quickly took care of that and said the only way I could call him me lord was if he built me a castle.....what a wonderful dream. Breakfast was quite tasty and soon after we had finished all of the princesses and Prince Charming paid their visits. Greg took pictures of me with each and every one of them. It was truely magical. After breakfast we decided we NEEDED a picture with Mickey....off to toon town...teh line was short and sweet and MIckey was a dear. Even Greg was a good sport about this picture. One last ride on Space Mountain and the TTA then off to Epcot as we have not really seen much there. We rode TT and the Land and decided we were hungry....well Greg was....so we were off to Canada to have some Cheddar soup and a salad. It was quite good. We wandered around and saw the things that we wanted to and lo and behold Greg had a really bad headace and it was getting quite chilly. Back to the room so Greg could lay down and I went through the DVC thing. I really do think it is quite a bargin. Even Greg is entertaining the idea of our own timeshare.... Greg is feeling better after a couple of tylenol and a nap. We grap our sweatshirts and Greg puts on some long pants and we are off to see Tapestry of Dreams. We find a great spot for this parade and watch in awe. Next we start to look for a good spot to see Illuminations. We have a PS at Rose and Crown, but Greg is really not in the mood, I really can't say that I blame him and we find a bench in front of Italy that is right on the water. We are there about two hours early and now I am hungry. I tell Greg I will go and get some food so off to find the piroigi's which are by Mexico, stop in Germany and get some ribs and kraut and also a slice of apple struddle. Very yummy. This does not quite make it for either of us so we are going to have to split a turkey leg. Yummy!! One of my favorites. We meet a lovely family from teh UK and talk for teh better part of 2 hours. My how time flies when you are having fun. Illuminations is underway and again we have some great seats. A tear comes to my eye as I realize this is it...the last night inthe World.... Greg comforts me and reminds me we wil be back.....although earlier in the the trip he told me this was the last Disney vacation for a while...I think I can safely start making them for next year.....I jsut need to get a hold of Al to see if he has any points to rent......Back to the room to pack and ponder......one last look and we are on the boat headed to the Boardwalk......

Sounds like a fun day for the two of you - I know what you mean about the last night in WDW - thanks for posting!

Sounds like a lovely trip! Just start planning for next year! Thanks for sharing!

I always get emotional on our last day, too. Thanks for sharing your trip with us!

Last days are just so sad, aren't they? Sounds like you made the most of your last day, though. You're so lucky that Prince Charming was at your breakfast....I've been there twice for breakfast and never seen the handsome prince :(

I enjoyed reading this, thanks for posting.
