Which is the biggest size available to use on a PSP? And does it accept "PRO"?

I think my (11 y/o) son said 2gb.

He has a 1 gb in his PSP that we paid extra for when we purchased it for him but he found a memory stick with even more memory. He is starting to use his to download music now & the rep at Best Buy said his 1gb can hold thousands of songs  .

What do you plan to download on yours that you need so much memory? (Just being nosy...)

P.s. have no idea what a "PRO" is. :confused3 I'm lucky I can turn his PSP 'on'! :lmao:

Apparently the make 4gb hard drives for it now. We checked online this past weekend but they were out of stock.

I currently have a 2gb memory card. I mostly use my PSP to watch shows off of my TiVo.

What do you mean by PRO?

They have a type of stick called duo PRO...... what is different, I do not know.

As far as what I am downloading, well Sony sells a software program that lets you copy DVDs to to your memory card with compression.

Sony Media Manager

I think the PRO Duo is the only type of memory stick that works in the PSP from Sony.

And I believe 2GB is available now

I've had a difficult time converting files for the PSP. I've had lots of audio synch issues. Let me know how that program works.

Right now with my 2gb memory card, I can fit about 5 hours of TiVo programs. With another program I could fit about 15 hours, but I started having major synch issues.
