Ok, I am here to say that we ate at Le Cellier twice (on 2/9 and 2/19). Lunch and dinner. Both meals were excellent and no complaints here. It's still our favorite despite some negative reviews. We had varying dishes (salmon, filet, soup, desserts) and everything was delicious. We did not think the portions were too small. The cheese soup and pretzel bread are still divine!

I am so glad to hear that! LeCellier is my favorite restaurant! I couldn't get a ressie my last trip since it was last minute, but I got one for my upcoming trip. I am glad it is still good!

This is a favorite of ours also. I think that everyone had different expectations and opinions and what someone likes, someone else will dislike. So I take more reviews with a grain of salt.

We do this restaurant every trip. I am a filet mignon person and I am never disappointed!

We ate their last year for the first time in over 12 years. Loved it. Just a question, our first time eating at Le Cellier was in 1995. I seem to remember it being a buffet rather than a table service restaurant. Is that correct? If so, when did it change? Thanks.

Not bad (pretty good actually) but overrated. I haven't been there since it got popular though.

Le Cellier was, at some point, converted to table service from a cafeteria/buffeteria style place.

We've been to Disney several times, but this coming trip will be our first time at Le Cellier. I'm so very excited to try it, and happy to hear the good reviews!

We ate there in December. The wait was long (well over 1 hour) for a 6:45 ADR. We weren't too bothered by the wait though. The meal was wonderful -- not so much for our kids. If I would go back, I would make it a meal for just DH and me -- at least until the kids got older.

No debate here. We love Le Cellier. Can't wait to get back there in April!:thumbsup2

Oh, and if you haven't tried their Torontopolitan - brace yourself. You definitely get your money's worth when you drink one of these babies. It was like ordering 3 regular Cosmopolitans anywhere else - if you get my meaning.:lmao:

Thanks for the review. We can't wait until we go back in September. We've only done lunch, but we are going to try to get ADR's for lunch AND dinner this trip.

Ate there last February. Had to wait one hour past reservation time. Never had a regular waiter, just multiple people dropping stuff off and leaving, never to return. No refills on anything. Ever. Mediocre underdone filet. Embarrassed I had talked it up to my family after reading reviews here. Way overrated. Won't go back.

BTW, best meal that week? Dinner at Boatwright's, one of the most reviled restaurants on this site. Go figure.

That is funny--we had the exact opposite results. We had the best meal and service of our trip at LeCellier and our worse meal of our trip was Boatwright's. I think, as it is often said on here, it is a matter of personal preference and everyone should try each place that they are interested in at least once and make their own judgment.

We ate there last week for dinner. We were seated right away, had the BEST server, Patrick, who made a delicious meal so much fun!!!:goodvibes
We loved the soup with pretzel bread, the fillet was very good, and there was absolutely no room for dessert, darn it!

We've eaten here once during free dining and loved it. Had a table in the middle next to a wall and no other tables. Had a great waiter who was informative, friendly, and timely. We got here 5 minutes late for our ADR and I think we were seated within 15 minutes? I'm not sure as my baby was being cranky so I was wandering around Canada but I know it wasn't very late. We enjoyed immensely and felt that we would more than likely be back. If you are expecting the best steak you've ever had, this wasn't it for us. It was our 3rd favorite during that week at WDW. Maybe 4th.

Maybe I wouldn't even order steak next time. I might just order cheese soup, eat the bread, & then order the s'mores. Yup, that's what I would do for sure.

Cheese soup, Mushroom Filet, and Creme Brulee:cloud9: . 6 Months can't get here fast enough:goodvibes

If we are on the DDP this is the first ADR we make and work every other ADR around it.

Le Cellier is a very nice dining experience, but (imho) does not measure up to many of the other fine dining experiences available at WDW (Jiko, Citrico's, Artist Point, Blue Zoo, Yachtsman Steakhouse, Flying Fish, etc.).
