The big G+ rides at HS gone by 1:07!

They will come back.
More like, someone else will come in their place. For many WDW visitors, this might be their once-in-a-lifetime/5 years/10 years trip. They may have an unpleasant experience and not want to come back. But someone else is aging in to the WDW visiting window and will come for their first/once-in-a-lifetime/5 years trip. We here on these message boards are the exceptions.

I think, the typical family will visit WDW every 5 years. A lot changes in 5 years. I plan my vacations around new rides. When new stuff opens up, I go. Right now, I'm waiting for the third Universal gate to open. Then, I'll be back in Orlando. Maybe I'll give WDW another chance then. I really want to ride Tron when it opens. But I'm mainly a DL person. And I'll just road trip it there for Halloween stuff.

Have there been any reports of someone getting their money back for G+ if they complained about only being able to get one LL while at DHS?

Agree completely with you. What sense does it make to purchase tickets for your entire family but not be able to ride anything mid-afternoon? Isn't that when most folks want to be in the parks? Are we down to getting up at 6 am for rope drop or the two days a week of extended theme park evening hours (for deluxe guests and useless for those of us with little ones) in order to experience rides without long waits? no thank you.
This is what my family has done for all of our trips. However, I realize many people do not want to vacation this way. That is why the current system is not working.

I agree. People are not going to not go because of G+. But after a day at HS with only 2 G+ rides and 100+ minutes for everything else- will they want to come back? 🤔
I don’t think genie+ will be the reason, but I think it will be a factor along with expense, crowds, ride break downs, & customer service. Even things like limited house keeping. It all comes down to feeling like it’s worth the money.

Exactly.

We last went to DisneyWorld in 2008, then DisneyLAND in 2014. We are planning to go to DisneyWorld later this year. So, that's 8 years after Disneyland, and 14 years after our last trip to DisneyWorld. There is SO MUCH new that we will explore.

We go every 5-6 years. Covid extended that to 8 years this time.

Ok so hypothetical… could one enter, say, AK and while there stack evening LL for HS? I see stalking the app and every two hours I can grab anything that may happen to pop up, but since they are all late, it makes sense to do something else in the morning and then head over at night to HS and do a bunch of stacked LL?

Yes you can do that.

So now I feel like I want to tour completely backwards of how we have ever done WDW. Leisurely do all of the random stuff and low wait rides in the morning at the park we have reserved, meanwhile stalking G+ in a second park, and then hit that second park hard for back to back G+ rides in the evening like I’m rope dropping at 8am!

It’s a big strategy. Lots of people have been talking about it but with most good LL at DHS selling out by 11ish am it’s not really working out.
But I’m seeing here in this thread and on Thrill Data that they sell out and then there are drops throughout the day. Some on a really good routine. Seems like it could work.

I think it’s a good strategy going in. But unfortunately it’s so darn inconsistent. Yes there may be a drop, yes things pop up, so it’s theoretically feasible. Haven’t heard recent posts of people reporting their trials of this for hopping to HS.
