The best way to do tonight in DL

We're here... had a great morning in DL. More on that in another post, if anyone's interested. Now, we're going back for fantasmic and fireworks. I have a family that does not excel with waiting for long periods of time, so staking out a spot 2 hours before isn't going to work. Any suggestions? Can you get a decent spot for fireworks after watching fantasmic?

We also have fast passes for Splash as that closed before we could use them.

If you can do without seeing the images on the castle, then you can usually see the fireworks from the Fantasmic area. We've watched Fantasmic from the eating area of River Belle and then watched the fireworks. Also watched the fireworks from the left side of the castle in the hub, then walked to the front of the Haunted Mansion left of the area where people camp out and were able to get decent standing spots for Fantasmic.
