I love to do this! In Frontierland, just before the walk-thru to Magic Carpets of Aladdin are some rocking chairs on a wooden deck. That's my absolute favorite spot-listening to the banjo music, the distant screams/splashes from Splash Mountain, the sounds of the Riverboat, the waterwheel on Tom Sawyer Island. Aaahh! But there's only a couple rocking chairs, so if they're taken (people don't take kindly about being shoved out of their rocking chairs), I'll go over to the ones outside LTT, in front of Tony's, by the Hall of Presidents. And if it's bad weather, another great, but little known spot, is the upstairs at Pinocchio's Village Haus. It's quiet up there, but you can look down on all the people. Last time I was there, I took off my shoes and socks, put my feet up on a chair, and sipped iced tea for a while. There's an outside deck up there, too, so next time I'm going to check out there-it looks like maybe you could watch the goings on in Fantasyland. In Epcot, I like to sit on a bench by Rose and Crown (it's usually shady) or over by Morocco to watch the crowds. In AK, I like any bench in the Oasis, or just sitting in front of Pizzafari. My favorite, quiet resting place, not for people watching, is across from Flights of Wonder. It used to be a boat dock, I think, but I love to sit at the tables, listen to the music, and just look at the Tree of Life.
