the best meal i had at disney world this trip was:

DisneyDeb.....

We agree.....we absolutely loved the Liberty tree Tavern on our last trip. It was such a nice change from the usual "fast food" of a Disney vacation. It will definitley be an inclusion on our next trip.

O.K. here goes:

Risotto Vongole (clams with risotto) at Palio:jester:
ANYTHING at House of Blues:smooth:
Chateaubriand at Yachtsmans Steakhouse:p
and
almost anything at the beautiful Kona Cafe:sunny:

my mouth is watering as I write this...
love, Wilma:tongue:

I will go a little further:\

I will say which meals were our best from each trip:

1993: Cape May Cafe, Clam Bake... liked it so much we went twice that trip, and have never missed a chance to eat there, since.

1998: Tony's for Breakfast... loved the sweetrolls..just delicious!!!

2000: San Angel Inn: Lunch... great atmosphere, good food, delicious Margaritas!

2001: Hollywood and Vine: character lunch... wonderful buffet, awesome character interaction, great time!

Jan 2002: Narcoosee's: dinner... awesome food, wonderful service, great view of MK!

Aug 2002: 50's Primetime: see post above.

We will be trying 1900 Park Faire for breakfast this time, so hopefully I will be able to add that!

BOMA AND CALIFORNIA GRILL neck and neck for the 2002 trip. both were delicious :D

My favorite meal was the Chicken Mole Pablano at the San Angel. (Plus margaritas) My DS's was the buffet at the H & V.

The meal we most enjoyed was at the Galley at the Yacht Club. We were there in October 2000. The galley was beautiful and the service and food were excellent. I heard that the place closed down shortly after we were there. Anyone know whether it is open?

I did hear about Yacht Club Galley closing, but I recently read that it is now open at select times. Whether that means seasonally, I have no clue.
It IS a beautiful and restful place to have a meal. We've eaten lunch there several times, even when we did not stay there. We always asked to sit by the wall with the moving seascape. The food has always been fresh and delicious. Thanks for invoking the memories :)
All the best, Wilma:wave:

I haven't seen it in the top restaurants to visit, but we tried Japanese food for the first time at Epcot this year. (We love chinese take-out) Teppanyaki is the place, they cook it in front of you on the grill and the show is so much fun! The children loved the adventure and the food was very good!

Portabello YC - best dinner every year.
Kona Cafe - best breakfast every year.
Chef Mickey's - Best Character interaction!

'Ohana was our fave! We had a view of the castle, attentive, friendly service, fun with coconuts ;), and WONDERFUL food!

Catalina Eddies for pizza. The price made it even better!

Great Thread!!!

My best meal last month, in July, and last September was the Beef Terryaki at Kona Cafe. I dont know when I will get to have it again, but I think about it all the time!!!!

Filet Mignon at Le Cellier. First time there, but will always go back.

I have three that were favorites this trip...couldn't decide on just one of these from our august trip

California Grill - dinner-- sushi, flatbread pizza - rum and tonic -awsume magic kingdom fireworks view -excellent service

Coral Reef: Lunch - lobster soup - blackened catfish and grits - wine - table by the tank with the diver entertaining us throughout lunch

Ohana's -dinner - all the food was fresh & excellent (these are the all you can eats that I preferr as I hate to keep getting up and down and waiting in line for food) We especially enjoyed the pinaple with carmel dipping sauce for desert - service was above excellent - kids enjoyed hula and coconut races - table with a magic kingdom & firworks view was awsome.

Breakfast -- Cape May Buffet!

Lunch -- Fulton's Crab House

Dinner -- a very close tie between House of Blues and 50's PTC!

Our overall fav is now Boma..both breakfast & dinner; the blended juice at breakfast is delicious!

For meal & view: Narcoossee's; We were able to watch the MK fireworks & the Electrical Water Pageant-what a sight!:D

There are very few restaurants at WDW that we do not enjoy!

LTT-lunch. They had a special offering of this wonderful salmon that had these orange squash shreds on top. It was to die for! DH and I agreed that it was the all time best dish we've ever eaten at WDW and we've dined at lots of great places! I tried not to be obvious about licking the plate!

Rainforest Care in AK - the food was good, but just to see my 7 year old's face looking all the rainforest atmosphere and activity was worth every dime.

P.S. I'm glad to hear all the good reviews of the LTT. We're having Thanksgiving dinner there!

Bon Appetit!
