Okay I've seen the thread about the worst, let's get some happy thoughts going and list our favorites. What I think will be funny to see is how many restaurants will be on both lists.

CHEF MICKEY - Love those parmesan potatoes

1900 PARK Fare - Love the buffet - usually a really nice variety

Whispering Canyon - we go every year, it's a blast and we love the food.

There's really no restaurant I absolutely hate. I think you can have a bad experience just about anywhere. Unless it's awful, one bad experience usually won't keep me away, two will though :flower:

Oh and will someone who loves Ohana please give me some good reviews about it? We're going for the first time on our upcoming trip and the bad thread had me a bit nervous. :earseek:

Our top 2 are:

Le Cellier - Love the Cheese Soup, Filet and Maple Creme Brulee!!!

Jiko - ANYTHING!!! Everything we've ever gotten here is fabulous

Chef Mickeys...This has become a tradition for our family...always on the first day of our trip. The food is great! So many choices...and the character interaction is the best.

Sci Fi- I know I'm probably alone with this choice...but our food was GREAT (chicken sandwiches) service was amazing and where else can you get that kind of ambiance from a resturant. My DS LOVED the Sci fi previews and the fact he got to eat in a "car".

Victoria and Alberts...This is my all time favorite. We ate here for our honeymoon and hopefully will be able to celebrate an anniversary here one day. The food...the ambiance...the service....is PRICELESS. EVERYONE needs to try this place at least once. It was a dinner I will always remember.

As for CS meals...
MK-Casey's and Cosmic Rays
MGM- Backlot Express (I think this is the place..it's right between Indiana Jones show and Star tours...)THe BEST grilled turkey sandwich ever!!
AK- Flame tree BBQ (need I say more)
Epcot- We've only eaten a couple of CS meals here...none really impressive.

Hello....We had dinner at 'Ohanas the other night for the first time. We loved it! We were an hour early for our ADR and they seated us almost right away. The food and service was wonderful ;) We didn't care for the chips but loved everything else. The chicken wings and potatoes were my favorites ::MickeyMo The meats were really good as well. We were so full when our "cousin" came around with seconds we had to say no thanks! Then it was time for desert. It was great by the way :flower: I had never had bread pudding before and I didn't know what to expect but I loved it. The sauce you can pour on top is delicious!

'Ohanas is now on our list of favorites. I was a little worried about trying it after the reviews lately but I'm so glad we did. We will definately eat there again :cool1:

My top 4;

Brown Derby - Everything I ate here was excellant.

Ohana - Best chicken wings ever! Also very good potatoes and banana foster.

Boma - Loved the soups.

Le Cellier - Great meal, loved the cheddar cheese soup and pretzel bread.

Citrico's is my fave restaurant.. I did write a review a while back and will see if I can find it and copy and paste it..

"We just got back from WDW and I had to share the news about this restaurant. My husband and I are in total agreement that this restaurant is definitely 5 stars plus.

We started our meal off with appetizers, sauteed shrimp for DH and for me Gateau of crab. Living on Cape Cod, it is hard to wow us when it comes to seafood, but they did. I cannot describe how delicious the appetizers were. For dinner, I had the grilled lamb chops with crispy polenta, my first time for polenta, and my husband had a special for that night, which I believe was a veal chop with lobster meat and mozzarella cheese. Both meals were cooked to perfection and the flavor was unbeatable.

We shared a speciality dessert, decadent chocolate item, for the celebration that is going on at Disney right now and our coffee was served to us in a French press, it was a great cup of coffee to go with that fantastic dessert.

Their wine list was quite nice and they had many speciality apertifs, Cherry Kiss, Melon Chi Chi, Italian Lemon Drop, bellinis, martinis, and I could go on and on.

If you are planning a special evening at Walt Disney World and want a truly incredible meal, I suggest you try Citrico's at the Grand Floridian Resort. I know we tried to make another reservation for our last night, but they were not open that night. I think their schedule at this time, is Wednesday through Sunday, and I definitely would suggest a priority seating as it was quite busy when we were there..

Thanks Citrico's for a great evening!!!!!!!!"

Thanks for sharing the info about Citrico's - I don't see all the much written about it, and we just make ADR's for our 10th anniversary dinner there!

Are LeCellier,Mama Melrose's,House Of Blue's,Flame Tree BBQ and at least one hot dog from Casey's and got to have one Turkey leg. :goodvibes :wizard: :wave2:

Yachtman's Steakhouse- We had a fantastic meal here over Labor Day Weekend 2005- Steaks were perfect- delicious- melt in your mouth- Service was wonderful- Salad and veges were also done well and nice accompaniments to the wonderful steaks.

I used to put Le Cellier on the top of my list but now Yachtsmans is right up there too.

I have many favorites.

Victoria and Albert's - This one is my most favorite ever! I still can't get over the fact that we each had our own waiter/waitress and personalized menus. I am still blown away by the food also. I never tasted anything like I did that night.

Citrico's - This restaurant had very "yummy" food and a very unique atmosphere.

Cinderella's Royal Table - I loved the food here. This my sound odd but the green beans were to die for. lol. The way they seasoned them was perfect. The desert was heaven.

These are only some of our favorites. There are plenty more but I shouldn't post them all! lol :earseek: :earboy2: These are just my top favorite!

The best meal I've had at WDW is at the Flying Fish. My husband's was Jiko (I was much less impressed with Jiko - if he hadn't had a fantastic meal, I wouldn't go back). Of course, both those restaurants can run $100 a person pretty easy - though we spent less at Flying Fish than we did at Le Cellier (skipped appitizers at FF and only had one drink).

Our family loves Teppanyaki and it is a tradition that we go everytime now
also enjoyed breakfast at the crystal palace

This is a tough one because we like so many of the restaurants, but here goes:

Breakfast: Boma
1900 Park Fare
Kona

Lunch: Beaches and Cream
Rainforest

Dinner: Le Cellier ( our #1 restaurant period)
Boma
Mama Melrose
Trail's End
Chef Mickey's

My top favorite restaurants are Boatwright's Dining Hall for breakfast and LeCellier for lunch or dinner.

Boatwright's:Located at Port Orleans Riverside, the food here is probably better for breakfast than for dinner. My favorite entree is the Sweet Potato Cakes, but the Banana Stuffed French Toast and Blueprint Omelette (with up to twelve fillings/toppings!) receive high marks.

LeCellier:One of the most popular restaurants in WDW, LeCellier Steakhouse in Epcot World Showcase's Canadian pavilion serves great steaks and prime rib. Don't forget the cheddar cheese soup made with bacon and Moosehead beer. The pretzel bread's good, too.

Jim

My favorite meal at WDW was in the Haunted Mansion, followed closely by a special luncheon at V&A. Since these are outside the norm, tho....
