The Best Burger on Property

I'm very interested to read how many praise the Steakhouse 71 burger. I'll have to try it again next week.

It's my fave and it's not even close. But I prefer a more smash burger style of patty vs a pub style burger as a rule and the stack burger much more resembles the former than the latter. Both are great but it's all according to your preference I think.

I am really excited to try the Wayfinder burger over at Wailulu on our next trip because I hear it's in the conversation for best burger too and it's supposed to be more smash style.

I'm partial to Yak and Yeti's Kobe beef burger.

The Steakhouse 71 burger is a close second, losing out only due to its insane price!

I like this as well.

I like a good patty melt and the 4 cheese patty melt at Contempo cafe is dang good for being a quick service. Actually jumped on the monorail to run over and get one in January as a little break from Magic Kingdom.

I can't speak to their regular burgers, but I remember being thoroughly "whelmed" by the allergy friendly one I had the one time I ate there a while back. I wasn't racing to go back tbh.

I think that was before the D-Luxe burger people took over Sci-Fi though. I've heard much better things about the burgers there since then.

What did you like better the classic or jalapeño one? Do you know if they always have the jalapeño one or is it seasonal?

I like adding the jalapeno sometimes, it's not on the menu but they always add anything no problem.

Bison burger is the best I've had on property too. I especially like that you can mobile order it if you're in a hurry.

I haven't tried the Steakhouse 71 or Victoria Falls burgers, which both look great.

I gave it an "honorable mention" above. Nothing to write home about, but a serviceable, decent tasting burger.

ETA: Compared to the burgers at average QS places (e.g., Cosmic Rays), the Sci-Fi burger is really good. My "nothing to write home about" comment reflects that burgers at Geyser Point, the Edison, Boathouse, Steakhouse 71, etc. are incredible.

Unfortunately did not take a pic but the Wailulu smash burger with volcano sauce? Will. Not. Disappoint! In fact wailulu may be my new favorite restaurant on premises (granted just ate there once but the experience was top notch!)

Miss the burger at Rose and Crown. Loved it! Wish they would improve/expand their menu a little there, back more like it was because it's such a nice location. Hard to use the covid excuse any more.

My son keeps asking when we can return to AKL because his favorite has been the burger at the QS in Jambo. No idea why, there's nothing special about it, but he eats completely plain burgers and adds his own ketchup - and after years and years of various ones, this one is always exactly what he wants and preferred to all others which get compared to it. He had it about a half dozen times on our last AKL trip, even asking to come back to the hotel instead of eating at parks or holding out on dinner until we got back.

No, this isn't yet another thread asking where the best burger on property is. Instead I'm giving my opinion of which is the best. How does this look?

That's the Bison Burger at Geyser Point (Wilderness Lodge). It's a huge burger with cheese, bacon & onion straws. Yes, with a mound of fries.

agreed!! Bison Burger at Geyser Point!
Although we have not tried the Steakhouse 71 burger, but have gone out of our way to get this bison burger. and have heard/read good things about the burger at Three Bridges.
DH enjoys DLuxe burgers, and especially the fries, all the sauces you can get with them.
