BOG is not a character meal
That being said, he is frequently available for a photo op as you are leaving dinner, but no other meals

Don't count on it .
Been to BOG twice for lunch and once for dinner , no appearances by the Beast or anyone else.
Sure it is not a Character Meal but still they could make a appearance more often ?

The Beast doesn't appear at lunch. His presence isn't guaranteed at dinner because he could become ill during the evening or unable to appear for some other reason. Your post is the first one I've read that he was not in his study after dinner for a photo op. When did you go? Did castmembers let you know he would not be there?
