The Battle For My Wallet IV: Return of the ZZUBs (Addendum, p.85; 07/12)

As expected.

1.) It sucks for one.... because I was SUPPOSED to be somewhere ELSE right now. Instead of sitting here glued to my screen.
2.) It sucks because now I'll have to do the thing I was supposed to do sometime LATER today. Than I had planned to. Effectively you've ruined my day.
3.) Again.
5.) It also sucks because it was the first thing I noticed on the TR Board about a half hour ago. And clicked on it. Immediately. Instead of checking my own. That bothers me. TFI.
7a.) It sucks because I've already read it through twice. Pretty soon I'll be more familiar with this than with the movie "Footloose". Which I've seen, like, five times. At least.
43.) No flames please.
4.) It also sucks because it's pretty darn good.
IV.) Again.
subsection B) I may need to get a new shirt. It says, "ZZUB ROCKS!" on the front. And, on the back, "His TR is better than mine, I'm so said."

I can't believe you got this up so fast.

Kudos.

After I read this I called and changed an ADR too. Just for good measure. Heh heh. Tommy and I are now doing the G.G. In Oct. Now... I'm going on with my day.

Oh. One more thingie:

I'm DED. MY FACE. In the crystal balls. In EVERYONE'S SIGNATURE!!!!

Haaaaaaaaaaaaaa Haaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa Haaaaaaaaaaaaaaa.

That is the BEST prank EVER!

Kudos. More kudos. And yet, that seems redundant.

Hope you enjoy them, ZZUB.

Heh heh.

Cheers, Mel.

ZZub -

Your trip reports always set the standard that no one else can reach. I identify with so much that you write. I, too, worked far too many days between my last vacation and my end of summer trip to Disney (although it wasn't a year). I, too, initially resisted the urge to take part in the free dining (for about 2 weeks), but the attraction of free food was something I simply could not ignore.

And, I will never pay for an upgraded view. Instead, I try to walk or run every square inch of the property I'm staying on. I go out and "breathe it in" every morning of my trip. No matter how late I stay up the night before, I am up and out at dawn for my "quiet time".

I am truely looking forward to your trip report.

Wow. I'd be hooked even if I haven't gotten to know what a good schmoe you are by skimming your other tedious trippies....heh heh heh :yay: :teeth:

ZZUB, I can hardly wait to hear about the lastest battle for your wallet! Your trip reports are fantastic!

I also wanted to offer my deepest condolences for the loss of your son Samuel. You and I share the same faith, and I know that you look forward to seeing your son again. Until then he'll be with Jesus waiting for you.

Just for clarification, I’m pretty public about my faith in Jesus Christ. I’m a Christian. But that doesn’t make me perfect. I’m a flawed creature. I don’t imagine myself better than anyone else because I have received the blood of Christ, nor do I think I’m morally superior. I still sin. If I didn’t, then I wouldn’t need a Savior at all. I’d be God. But of course, I’m not God. I’m just doing my best to be obedient to Him.
:thumbsup2 What a fantastic testimony you have.

Enjoying your trip report.

ROLL TIDE

More! More! More!

Glad to see you back Zzub and writing again. Can't wait to hear more. We stayed at WL in January and loved it. Kids rang those cow bell things on the way to the bus everyday.

Oh boy! A ZZUB trippie and a Happhaunt trippie ongoing whilst I head off to Disney World this weekend! How will I ever catch up when I get home?!? At least I'll have something to look forward to after my sad trip back home! (sangdisneyfraud? what was that word?) I WILL be staying at POR this trip, so I'll be sure to say hi to it for you, Zzub! I love your stories and I'm so glad you choose to share them with us. Looking forward to more installments, so I can decide which trippie sucks more yours or Mel's! :rotfl2:

Welcome back and thank you for sharing your "trip" and your vacation with us. This TR also sucks because I have nothing witty to say but yet needed to send you some smiles........ just for fun:moped: for the TR :thanks: for your "trip" pixiedust: from one of your many dis friends:grouphug: You are a gifted writer and I look forward to how many ways Disney assulted your wallet.

Zzub - so glad you're writing your TR now! It's strange that you can really feel like you know someone just from reading their stories, but I do, and I thank you for sharing everything with us - you are extremely talented and I appreciate you! :wave2:

ZZUB is back - and all is right with the (disney)world.

Fantastic start - can't wait to hear the rest.

Donna: "Schadenfreude?"
CJ: "You know, enjoying the suffering of others. The whole rationale behind the House of Representatives."

Here's hoping your [disney]schadenfreude wasn't too unbearable.

Ooooh, Brandt's outdoin' all of us by bringin' the WW AND Schadenfreude all in the same post. SHOW-OFF!! I may have to pull out some Yiddish.

Z, you know I love you. I love your TRs too. And, no matter what Mel says, I'm never changing my screen name. And you know why.

Thank you for part 1 of what is sure to be another great read filled with laughter, tears, and multiple keyboard replacements (oh, wait, that's Layla).

And, of course, thank you for sharing (well, as much as an obsessive privacy freak can share...) your family with us. And your funnel cake, too.......

WHAT?! You didn't save any funnel cake for us? Hmmph. Now I'm verklempft. You chaza. Guess I'd better put aside some cash. For that.

We began thinking about planning for a trip and for reasons which now I cannot recall, we decided to go at the end of August.

After summer.

We all know you picked your dates for 3 reasons:

A) To avoid the Maelstrom meet.

3) So you could go before us.

:cool1: ZZUB is back. I can't wait to hear more. Your trip reports are great. :thumbsup2

I am sorry for your loss. Thank you for sharing it with us.

I hope your trip was wonderful and just what you needed.

Brother Z,
Glad to see that ally'all made it back safely.... and that you are being so prompt with the trip report. Unlike some others.

And I hesitate to post the next part..... because does the empathy of a stranger mean anything? But we have each put a little piece of our soul out for the world (or at least the disboards to see) in the form of trip reports... so I will.... I sorrow with you on your loss and rejoice with you in your faith. We too have little twinkies that we never were able to hold. We too have been on trips that shouldn't have even happened because we should have been home preparing for or meeting a new little family member.

Thank you for all the battles for your wallet. I have enjoyed them all-
now on with the show!

Zzub,

I'm loving the TR as always. We too will be staying at Wilderness Lodge in just 10 short days! This will be our second time to stay and my oldest son (7) is very excited to be going back.

I had a good friend who lost a child also. She said something to me that I will never forget. She said, "You know how people always worry about who will baby sit their children? I don't have to worry about that because my child has the best (God)." I absolutely loved that! Blessings on you and your family.

This is the TR I've been looking forward to all summer. Pretty sad, I know. :sad2: We were at the WL for 3 nights over Labor Day weekend. Standard view. Guess what? Upgraded to a woods view with a perfect view of the castle.

On a side note, I ran into Suzie Helpershoes at the WL on our last day. Register Journal and all. But that's another story for another time.....

Anyhoo, welcome back, now on with the report. :surfweb:

Hi J!!!!!

But that doesn’t make me perfect. I’m a flawed creature.
WHAT??!!!! You are Oz. The All Seeing. Oh-so Powerful one. :teeth:

Where, by the way, I won Olympic Gold in the Waterslide Olympics, so I continue to believe that was a good decision.
Umm. I believe you were disqualified. Something about a speedo???

And she took a tone with me!
NO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

cool as all get out dog
Of course. Being telepathic with me and all!!!!

Later that day, my wife and I chewed on the decision.
Did it taste like chicken??

Great start, Zzub!

You made MY heart go up and down, too. And break. All over again.

But. I must saiy that I am very impressed with your quick start. Shouldn't you have waited...well...6 months at least? I thought that was a Viking rule? Amy?

I am so sorry for the loss of your son, Samuel. My heart broke for you and your wife when I read your story. Thank you for sharing your faith in Christ.

I hope your trip and the WL helped to heal the ache in your hearts.

Love your TR's! :)
