Has anyone been able to report on being able to use quick service credits here and what you can get? I am curious if the picnic basket for 2 can be an option if 2 credits are used or the basket for 4 with 4 QS credits.

WHAT??? That doesn't answer the question. The $14.99 and under on that link is the standard "that's how much most of the meals are on the menu" speak on ALL the QS restaurants at Disney. It is not an amount available for the dining plan.

There have been a couple of questions about Wine Bar George in the last week or so. No answers. Please go and report back for others.

I know it has not been opened too long and there will be more info available in the future, but I could not really find much in regards to the dining plan as of now. We are going in late May, and interested in giving this one a go for one of our meals, so worse case scenario I will be the guinea pig and review ;)

$60.00 is so vastly different from $14.99 that it is simple to extrapolate the answer as "no."

"Range reflects the average price of adult dinner entrées (breakfast and lunch generally cost less), except Character Dining locations, buffet locations, dinner shows, and special dining events where range reflects the average adult price of entire meal and non-alcoholic beverages. Range excludes alcoholic beverages, taxes and gratuities except at dinner shows where beer and wine, taxes and gratuities are included."

I'm reading "average price" as applying to Table Service, based on the parenthetical breakfast/lunch comment.

The Basket at The Basket is $60.00.T
The Basket accepts CS credits.
There is no mechanism in place to combine CS credits.
Therefore, no, The Basket itself cannot be purchased with CS credits.

The only reason I was even suggesting this might be a possibility on the dining plan is:

1. You can use 2 QS credits at resort counter service restaurants to purchase a full size pizza (that includes 2 beverages and 2 desserts....prior to the exclusion of the desserts on the dining plan) - which means you are allowed to combine multiple credits to get meals that are considered to feed more than one person

2. You can use 1 QS per person at Pizzafarri in AK to get the family style meal - which is not the typical use of a QS credit since it includes an app and dessert

3. Breakfast a BOG is a prefix style breakfast that costs $28 a person and 1 QS credit can be used for this - so this means there is not a cap on the monetary value of a quick service credit

I was just curious if someone had actually used the dining plan here and what was allowed.

You GET a picnic basket with your meal IF you spend $60. You don't have to spend $60 to create your own basket. Still if 4 people use their QS credits and the total is over $60, then they MAY still give you the basket. Until someone attempts it, we don't know what they will do.

The-Basket-at-Wine-Bar-George-picnic-basket-frose-002.jpg I think the price and description on the Disney website are a little different than what I was looking at online, which is what lead me to my question originally. The one I found online makes it seem there are 2 choices (one that feeds 2 and one that feeds 4) and I was looking at it from the angle that multiple credits may be used to get one of the basket deals. If that makes sense?

Definitely different. Wonder which option will be there when you're there. I hope it's at least worth your time to go by and ask. :)
